EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Banking sector plays very important role in the development of any country, and especially when it comes to specialized banks from public sector. ZTBL is specialized bank for agricultural development in Pakistan due to which poor farmers have great expectations from ZTBL and Government of Pakistan also have special concern for agricultural stability, production and development because 60 percent of Pakistans population is related to agriculture, and population growth is also one of the major aspect of governments concern. On 14th December 2002, under the ordinance of the Agricultural Development of the Pakistan 1961, ZTBL was incorporated as Public Limited Company.ZTBL offer many services for its customers which try to help the diverse and changing needs of a normal farmer of Pakistan. Some of the products & services are; loan schemes, agri. Machines, lockers. The main edge for ZTBL is being a public sector bank by which government support ZTBL in every possible way, recently government announced to restructure 80.4 million loan of ZTBL. The thing which makes business of ZTBL successful is being only specialized bank of its kind in Pakistan.
