ArchediumStyle Architect Nirodha Gunadasa, practice started his Archedium (Private) Limited, in 2010 with the design of a villa in Oman Muscat. In a short period of time, he got the opportunity to handle many types of building projects ranging from city hotels, transportation buildings, interiors, office complexes and mix developments. Ferryterminalbuilding Colomboport,SriLanka With the agreement between governments of India and Sri Lanka, for ferry service between Colombo andTuticorin,needofalarge terminal building in Colombo port was seen. If a terminal building constructed across the existing goods port, it would be a disturbance to the ports activities. The proposal was made to construct the terminal outside the port and transport passengers between jetty and the terminal through a buss service. Pointing out the impracticality of this solution, Architect Nirodha Gunadasa proposed an innovative design solution. His proposal was a bridge over the port connecting jetty and the main road. The terminal building was on top ofthebridge.
