A WELCOME and ANNOUNCEMENTS Childrens Time ANTHEM: Im Gonna Leave Here Shoutin

ORGAN PRELUDE: Give Me Strength, O Lord CHORAL INTROIT

*CALL to WORSHIP (Westminster Confession of Faith, 1648) What is the chief end of man? Mans chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever! What rule hath God given to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy Him? The Word of God contained in the Old and New Testaments, is the only rule to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy Him. All which are given by inspiration of God, to be the rule of our faith and life. The Scriptures by their light and power convince and convert sinners, and comfort and build up believers unto salvation. Come, let us gloriously worship and enjoy God together! *HYMN #670G O Word of God Incarnate *CALL TO and PRAYER of CONFESSION What is sin? Sin is any want of conformity unto, or transgression of, the law of God. How is original sin conveyed from Adams first transgresssion unto mans posterity? By natural generation, all people are conceived and born in sin, and a loss of communion with God. Now hear us in silence, as we continue to confess to You *ASSURANCE of PARDON and *GLORIA PATRI *AFFIRMATION of FAITH- Apostles Creed (back)

THE APOSTLES CREED I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

The flowers this morning are given in honor of Peg Laymans 93rd birthday by her family. Happy Birthday Peg!!!
