Subject: A new priest
Date: Thursday, March 08, 2007 8:24 AM

A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak.

After mass he asked the monsignor how he had done.

The monsignor replied, "When I am worried about getting nervous on the

pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If I start to get
nervous, I take a sip."

So next Sunday he took the monsignor's advice.

At the beginning of the sermon, he got nervous and took a drink.

He proceeded to talk up a storm.

Upon his return to his office after the mass, he found the following note on
the door:

1) Sip the vodka, don't gulp.

2) There are 10 commandments, not 12.

3) There are 12 disciples, not 10.

4) Jesus was consecrated, not constipated.

5) Jacob wagered his donkey, he did not bet his ass.

6) We do not refer to Jesus Christ as the late J.C.

7) The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are not referred to as Daddy, Junior and
the spook.

8) David slew Goliath, he did not kick the sh*t out of him.

9) When David was hit by a rock and was knocked off his donkey, don't say he
was stoned off his ass.

10)We do not refer to the cross as the "Big T."

11)When Jesus broke the bread at the last supper he said, "Take this and eat
it for it is my body." He did not say "eat me".

12)The Virgin Mary is not called "Mary with the Cherry".

13)The recommended grace before a meal is not: Rub-A-Dub-Dub thanks for the
grub, Yeah God.

14)Next Sunday there will be a taffy pulling contest at ST.Peter's not a

peter pulling contest at St. Taffy's.

Subject: LC Football

Greetings My Brother! Hope things are off to a good start this week. I
wanted to send you the LC 2004 Football schedule (attached) and give you
details on my arrangement the last four years with the college.

The arrangement KOUZ had with LC did not have any kind of "rights fee"
involved. The college helped with road expenses for the broadcaster...and
whatever the station sold...we kept. As a matter of fact, the last two
years, LC paid $1,500 (for football and $800 for basketball) each year as a
sponsor. On the road, whatever team I was with, they took care of the
hotel and food expenses.

For road games, the college provides me a broadcast partner...thus my

talent fee is $125 per game. At home, I have a color anaylist (Nathan
Martin) and spotter (Ralph McNeal) that I pay out of my fee...so I ask for
$150 per game. I supply all the equipment...and you supply the long
distance service for the road games. All games are on Saturdays, with 8
out of the 10 games at 2pm...with two evening starts.

Working out a multi-year agreement should not be a problem since I know

the college doesn't want to be in this situation again any time soon.

I'm sure you still have some questions...but at least this gets the
process started...and allows you to put some numbers to paper and see if it's a
viable option.

See You later today!

Thanks for the congrats acknowledgement...it was something the Mayor and I
have been working towards since I joined his team 4-years ago. I tell
people that nothing has really changed except I now catch more grief. The
recognition factor with business and industry is the real plus behind the
reclassification.

On a personal note...does Bank One still have season tickets to LSU

basketball games? If so...can you ask if they might be available for February
19th. I will be in Baton Rouge for another event that weekend and wanted to
take my family. I would need four tickets if they are available. I
understand if they are gone already, since they are a hot team right now.

I look forward to seeing you at our next RiverFest meeting, although I'm
not quite sure when that is at the present time. I hope Beth will send a
reminder as she normally does.

THANKS!

Hello My Friend! Trust all is well...and if not, you're working to change

it.

Just wanted to drop some dates on you. Not to assume that you would
employ me again...but I am interested in working both girls and boys playoffs if
the opportunity affords itself.

The Peabody Girls (22-8 / 6-0) :

2/10 - last games of regular season

2/14 - brackets released
2/16 - playoffs begin
2/27 - 3/4 Sweet 16 in Hammond

The Peabody Boys (26-4 / 4-0) :

2/17 - last game of regular season
2/22 - brackets released
2/24 - playoffs begin
3/6 - 3/11 Top 28 in Lafayette

In situations where both teams might have games on the same night, the
LHSAA would schdule to where there would not be a conflict. That could happen
say the girls were in the Sweet 16, while the boys were in say the
quarterfinals.

Either way, we're on board for whatever door you may open. Give me a call
or send me an email letting me know what direction youmay be leaning.

THANKS!

Just remember....Karen sent me the following:

Sensitive man

A woman meets a gorgeous man in a bar. They talk, they connect, they end
up leaving together.
They get back to his place, and as he shows her around his apartment,
she notices that his bedroom is completely packed with soft, sweet, cuddly
teddy bears.
There are three shelves in the bedroom, with hundreds and hundreds of
cute, cuddly teddy bears, carefully placed in rows covering the entire
wall! It was obvious that he had taken quite some time to lovingly arrange
them and she was immediately touched by the amount of thought he had put
into organizing the display. There were Small Bears all along the bottom
shelf Medium-sized bears covering the length of the middle shelf, and
Huge, enormous bears running all the way along the top shelf.
She found it strange for a young man to have such a large a collection of
Teddy bears, especially one that's so extensive, but doesn't mention this
to him, and actually is quite impressed by his sensitive side. All the
while thinking to herself ... Oh bless! Maybe this guy could be the one!
Maybe he could father my children?...etc
She turns to him... they kiss... and then they rip each other's clothes off
and make hot steamy love.
After an intense, explosive night of raw passion with this sensitive guy,
they are lying there together in the afterglow, the woman rolls over,
strokes his chest and asks coyly "Well, how was it?"

Not really in our coverage area...we were one three pointer at the buzzer
(that should not have counted) from having you call a top 28 game. Sorry I

God Afternoon! Hope things are well in the home office in Atlanta.
Needless to say, alot has happened since we met last July about a franchise in
the City of Pineville. I do need a favor, but business first.

Have you had any more conversation with Dr. CV since the hurricanes moved
through? I know that our "broker friend" Tapas Sarma has relocated to our
area, but I haven't been able to make contact with him since he moved. Is
Microtel still even interested in our market?

Now for the favor. I am trying to plan a family trip to Baton Rouge
February 24-26 and was hoping you could help me with a room for two nights at
one of your properties there. I would be very grateful for whatever
consideration you could give my request. I need a non-smoking, double to
accomodate myself, my wife and two boys. I appreciate any help you can offer.

I hope that we can get things back on the front burner soon for a Microtel
development in Pineville.

THANKS!

I apologize for the mix-up...but it has not officially disappeared. Our

prosecutor had reduced it to a "no seatbelt", instead of dismissing it per
my request. It has now been taken care of, and you shouldn't receive
anything else in the mail :-)

On another subject...would there be any interest in picking up Louisiana

College Basketball for the upcoming season? I know that it was more
attractive with football...but KOUZ most likely will not be able to do it pending
an end-of-the-year sale...and this gets your foot solidly in the door for
both next fall and winter. There are 4 games in December, 11 in January,
and 6 in February...all doubleheaders. Just some food for thought.

Let's do lunch soon, and see where we are in both our arenas.

Here's what I have figured:

$400.00 - Rich Dupree (talent for Grambling Semi-final and Marion Final)

My address is 8317 Ridgemont Drive, Pineville, LA 71360. If not, I will
