Philippines & Canada

Education in the Philippines has a similar system to that of the United States but
in Canada quite different. Firstly, schools connected to the internet in Philippines have
a small percentage than Canada. In Philippines not all schools connected to internet
even private, there are internets only in the urban areas but in rural not so much but
here in Canada almost school has internet. There are only 2% of schools has an
internet in Philippines while in Canada it’s about 97% schools. In the other hand
Canada is a productive Country while Philippines is poor and corrupt that’s why only
few schools can afford internet connection.
The other differences between Canada and Philippines is the children out in primary
schools however primary school in Canada considered as kindergarten while in
Philippines it is called elementary. I covered this information because I’m interested
to know what the comparisons between these two countries are. Philippines have over
391,596 male students out in primary schools it seems to be larger than Canada. In
Canada they have only 8,805 male students out in primary schools.

In Philippines many student like to go in private schools because it’s good,

clean, the students are kind, and no violence. Here, in Canada only few students go to
private school because they say it’s expensive actually. If you compare the two
countries; Canada has the lowest status than Philippines. There are only 6.7 students
who enrolled in private school in Canada while in Philippines it is 30.8.
In public schools Canada is the highest than Philippines, Canada reaching over 46.1
students who enrolled in public but while in Philippines there are only 23.1.
Some public schools in Philippines have not so good education learning system they
lack of supplies such as computer, books and the teacher there is sometimes don’t
have TOC. In Canada much better because it completely organized like the rooms,
courses and the schools have a library.
Coming to university by the way is too expensive in Philippines and here in Canada
same thing too, but it seems that in Canada there is much more student go to
university than Philippines. The percentage of the student who goes to university in
Canada is almost 60.0% in Philippines only 31.2% that’s why in Philippines there’s a
lot of skilled trade and only few are professionals; also in Philippines mostly are
OFW (Overseas Filipino Work), Filipino’s who work in any part of the world.
I eventually notice that the two countries have some differences about the statistics,
student’s comprehension, enrollment and schools organization.
