All have families of their own. Proud grandparents of 9

Objectives: I will continue to attend workshops and conferences in order to gain more knowledge about the state and federal changes that affect our township. I will work to establish a better relationship with the residents and surrounding communities. I will continue to seek grants for road paving and find an economical way to provide a more stable dust free road surface. I will continue to work with the Zoning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals and the community to keep our Zoning Resolution and improve upon its relationship with the whole community.

Additional Comments: Todays government is challenging to say the least. The countries current economical situation will prove to be most challenging the next few years for the township as well. As township leaders we must work within our budget and spend tax dollars very wisely. Sometimes that means getting back to rolling up our sleeves and actually doing some of the work ourselves, like many trustees did before.

I have spent countless hours working on many committees and organizations in Huntsburg. I enjoy our community and believe it is a great place to live and raise a family. If elected to the position of trustee I will continue to work hard and strive to improve our community. I will work to keep taxes at a minimum and seek out funding that may be available for the township. I worked hard to bring close to $1,000.000.00 to the township in the form of OPWC, NatureWorks and Tire recycling Grants. I was instrumental in obtain grants for tire recycling, the recreational park and the township gym and assisted with all the road grants.

We need to find more efficient ways to sustain the services we now provide for the community. I am not afraid of hard work or long hours. I believe I have proven that in my past elected position of township clerk and fiscal officer. As clerk and fiscal officer I did not have voting privileges. I would, as a trustee, have the ability to vote for the policies and projects that are important to the people of Huntsburg. I will work hard to improve communications with all Huntsburg residents and will value their opinions. I will listen to the people.
