1. Call Meeting To Order Meeting called to order with a quorum at 6:07 2. Homeowner Topics For Discussion A home owner brought up the painting contract and scope of work and expressed a concern of the type of paint used in the project and the warranty of the paint. The paint used in our current painting project has a 20 year warranty and we have a 10 year warranty on labor. The homeowner also stated the they were having a hard time reaching Kappes Miller To reach the management company Kappes Miller please contact Clinton Oakland direct at 425-628-2088. Please leave your name, number, our association name and a brief synopsis of your issue. A home owner brought up the concern that there has been under age children on the dock and at the pool. The home owner also brought up a concern about renters and the restrictions or rules that need to be expressed and understood by the home owner and communicated to the renter. A third concern that has been raised is the quality and service that is being provided by the landscape company. 3. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes Prior meeting minutes were approved 3. Treasurer's Report Galen covered the budget and where we stand as on assessment collection and projects yet to be completed. 5. Old Business Committees Landscaping: It has been discussed that a committee needs to be formed to help keep on an eye on the landscape, sprinkler system, and general landscape condition. Social: Gate Cabana Project Update Near completion mirror in the workout room has been ordered, furniture near complete, fireplace reface to begin August 20th. Edgar Progress Report 6. New Business Board Member Opening Gate Alternatives Asphalt Repair & Painting Bids Maintenance Items Update Rules Reminder 3. General Dock Use: The dock area may be used for sunbathing, swimming, fishing, and general recreation so long as no activity becomes an unreasonable infringement on the rights of other Owners or a hazard or risk to the Association. Children 14 years of age and under are not allowed on the dock unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Only light, minor boat maintenance is allowed, and Owners are responsible for compliance with all environmental laws and regulations in this regard and will hold the Association harmless from all liability or damage for any failure to so comply. Boaters, water skiers, jet skiers, fisherman and others shall keep a good lookout for swimmers and others when entering and exiting the dock area. Please Note: City of Redmond, King County, State of Washington and or Federal laws and enforcement of those laws by city, county, state or federal authorities may apply to Lake Sammamish. Lake Villas residents and guests are responsible for adhering to those Laws. 5. Pool, Sauna and Jacuzzi Restrictions: Children 12 and under shall not use the pool without an adult 18 or over present and persons from 13 through to 18 shall not use the pool alone. Children under the age of 18 shall not use the sauna or Jacuzzi unless accompanied by an adult 18 or over. These restrictions will be posted. These restrictions are provided to all Owners, and Owners arc solely responsible for providing them to tenants, by a copy of these Rules. Any child unable to swim or who is under 7 years of age must have the parent in the pool and tending the child at all times. Persons with any medical condition or potential medical condition (such as women of child bearing age or otherwise), and persons taking any medication (whether prescription or otherwise) should not use the sauna or Jacuzzi without first consulting with (heir doctor. All such use is at the persons sole risk. Use of the sauna or Jacuzzi with alcohol may pose a hazard and is prohibited.

NOTE: Any homeowner who wishes to have an item discussed and acted on must submit a written request to have the item added to the agenda. Written requests must be received by Kappes Miller Management one week before the meeting each month in order to be placed on that month's agenda.
