TLIF3093A IMPLEMENT CHAIN OF RESPONSIBILITY REGULATIONS OUTLINE (COR LEVEL 2) This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to implement chain of responsibility regulations. It includes identifying and interpreting relevant regulations, and reviewing operations in line with chain of responsibility regulations. The unit generally applies to those who provide leadership of others, individually or in teams.

CHAIN OF RESPONSIBILITY - LEVEL 2 COURSE OVERVIEW The focus of this course is on: Implementing existing procedures; Following procedures to prevent or manage a breach; Identifying impacted roles & communicating their responsibilities to them; and Completing required documentation & reporting findings.

COURSE PRE-WORK Prior to attending the training course, the learner will be asked to locate copies of any existing policies/procedures that their organisation has in place, from the list provided.

FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING COURSE Learners will then attend a 1-day training course, where they will explore the different policies/procedures/tools that they would implement/follow as part of their role as a frontline manager or supervisor. They are provided with an example of each based on the fictitious company Safe Freight or the alternative to refer to their existing organisations version. Learners then complete the assessments in their own time after they have attended the 1-day session and submit the assessments online.

ASSESSMENT OUTLINE After attending the 1-day course, there are several assessment tasks to complete, including a: Knowledge Assessment: A series of online quiz style questions to demonstrate the learners general understanding of the chain of responsibility. Case Study Assessment: Several online short case studies with supporting questions to demonstrate application of the chain of responsibility to realistic scenarios. Short Answer Assessment: A series of online questions to demonstrate application of the chain of responsibility regulations related to the learners job role and workplace. Practical Assessment: Includes locating, analysing and submitting a workplace CoR-related policy or procedure and one or more CoR-related record(s). A series of online questions are used to explore the CoR policy/procedure implementation methods and several verbal questions are used to explore the CoR record findings further.
