Effective January 1, 2013*
The vision of reducing the out-of-pocket expenses by
providing enhanced and higher benefits to the members and
their dependents.
The Sponsored program had already remitted and paid the
increased premium rate (from P100 P200 or from
P1,200.00 to P2,400.00 per year) since July 2012.
About time for the Employed Sector to have its premiumrates-schedule be increased from 2.5 to 3% of the basic
monthly salary in accordance with Section 28 paragraph (a)
& (c) of RA 7875.
N.B. Contributions made in behalf of indigent members shall
not exceed the minimum contributions set for employed
members (Sec 28 par. (c) of RA 7875)

ELECTRONIC PREMIUM REPORTING SYSTEM


(EPRS)
1. Provides the Employer access to PhilHealth Database
2. Allows Employer to generate Statement of Account prior to Payment;
3. Allows Employer to pay electronically through accredited banks;
4. Allows automatic posting of premium payments into the collections database;
5. Does away with MDR, adopt Electronic Claim Forms (eCF 1) for benefit
availment.
