Summary
HVAC systems are aggressively migrating to electrically motor driven flaps replacing mechanical flaps for cost and performance optimization. There is an increasing trend toward PWM driven blower motors for electrical power saving, fuel saving measures and enhanced reliability. Door Electronics continues to aggressively increase with a large variety of architectures to meet the differing low, mid and high end car requirements. Infineon offers a range of discrete and integrated semiconductor solutions offering optimum flexibility for designers. A growing trend of LIN slave anti-pinch window lift solutions is emerging to address the additional needs of window lift systems and fulfill safety requirements.
