The Corporate Relations team at Jain College has been responsible for providing the best placements to its students, including Global placements. The Corporate Relations team of the Institute would be working hand in hand with the selected Placement Coordinators for Final Placement assistance for the 2012-14 Batch. The coordinators would be selected in the class which would take place towards during the mentoring process. Following are the guidelines that students must adhere to at all points in time so as to remain eligible for Final Placements also for the smooth functioning of the Campus Placement Process: 1. Final Placement Eligibility would be based on the following Criteria: Following are the criteria that every candidate must fulfill the criteria given below by the end of the first two semesters of the program so as to be eligible for Jain College campus placement assistance. In order to be considered eligible for placements assistance. The candidate must A) Have no backlogs in academics against their names. B) Not have any disciplinary action initiated against him/her during their tenure at Jain College and should not have any fee pending towards the institute. C) He/She should have the minimum prescribed attendance. D) Furnish Summer Training Project Report and company details.

2. Attendance to any initiative organized by Jain College such as Seminars, Guest Lectures etc. for the Batch is compulsory. 3. Every student needs to furnish details about his/her Internship. The details would include the following: the name of the organization, duration of training, name and designation of the Project Guide and a visiting card of the guide. The institute would be sending a Feedback form to the project guide. If the visiting card of the guide is not available all details (name, designation, address, mobile no., email) should be given in writing on an A4 size sheet. 4. Jain College follows a one offer per student policy, as soon as a student receives an offer from a company he would no longer be offered placement assistance as all students need to be given an equal opportunity. A student can apply for any number of Company Recruitment Process during the placement season but he/she would be allowed to appear for a maximum of 6 Final interview chances. Final interview chances would mean that written test, group discussions or even first round of interview would not be counted. After 6 chances of final interviews if a student is still not placed he/she would be put on the Bench. When a student is put on the bench, then he cannot apply for placements till 80% of the batch gets placed.

5. Some students may want to utilize their own contacts for procuring Final Placements. Students can apply on their own to as many companies, provided they take written permission from Corporate Relations team. Students would still be allowed to participate in Jain College Final Placement Session till the time they are not placed on their own. But in case the student gets placed by themselves then they would not be offered any further placement assistance from Campus. However, if they are placed through Jain College, they would have to necessarily join the company that has offered them through Jain College. 6. Once a student has applied for any company from campus, he/she cannot back out at any stage for whatever reason. If a student is unable to appear for an interview that he or she has been shortlisted, for any reason whatsoever (medical, personal, natural, etc), he / she would be debarred from further placement assistance.

7. Any candidate found guilty of misconduct either during or after an interview would be debarred from Final Placements. It is to be noted that no student is to communicate directly with any company unless he/she has been asked to do so by the Corporate Relations team or he/ she has taken prior permission from the Corporate Relations team to do so.

8. When a student has been offered by a specific company through Jain College, the particular student has to necessarily join the company. A copy of the appointment letter has to be provided to the Corporate Relations team, and only after that would the MBA Degree/Diploma of the particular student be released. As mentioned before, if Jain College comes to know of such instances of backing out after applying, the student would be debarred from further Final Placement assistance.

I have gone through the points/instructions/clauses/norms carefully and shall abide by the rules framed by the Management of Jain College.
