JOB DESCRIPTION KARL SCHMIDT UNISIA JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: Under the direction of the Director of IT North America, The ERP PS SAP Manager will leverage your direct experience with Management SAP System to support our Regional Domain in North America, as well as ongoing manage of business requirements. A strong prior experience with Project Management in SAP is required to understand and support our global automotive business model with an international dimension; this position requires solid functional experience backed with a foundation in SAP fundamentals. The ERP PS SAP Manager is responsible for managing the SAP User Support Specialist positions and all functions performed by these staff members including the SAP Helpdesk, and maintenance, SAP training for decentralized users and other related responsibilities. The candidate has to be willing to travel in order to manage a regional SAP team and meet the business request and able to be relocated to Celaya, Guanajuato. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Position coordinates and manages SAP support for decentralized system users. Manages timely, accurate maintenance of workflow rules. Supervises the SAP Helpdesk. Supervises, analyzes and prioritizes the SAP support staffs workload; assigns work to staff; and monitors the completion of assignments; ensures timely and accurate responses to requests for assistance. Manages and coordinates training of decentralized users. Coordinates timely set up and configuration for all new user requests and user access change requests with the SAP System Administrator. In conjunction with functional leads, coordinates testing efforts and facilitates testing of major system upgrades. Coordinates timely, accurate update and maintenance of functional desktop procedures used by central departments as well as end user documentation. Oversees logging/tracking of functional and system issues with customer support. Seeks input from and coordinates system improvements with a diverse user community and serves as a liaison with decentralized users. Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
