Specialized Medical Campaigns 2013 1.

Background In Lobitos and La Brea-Negritos, health centers lack of medical specialists who contribute to the care of vulnerable age groups such as children, women and older people. Sapet Development Peru (SAPET) should aim to strengthen health gaps through Specialized Medical Campaigns, from the hand of local municipalities and specialized institutions; and generate a harmonious environment that helps in the normal course of its operations. In that sense, SAPET must join to No Governmental Organization (NGO) Asociacin Vida Per to implement the project Specialized Medical Campaigns in their influence areas, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of the population. NGO Asociacin Vida Per is a private philanthropic institution established nonprofit in Peru with the objective of efficiently channeling medical donations from abroad. Collaborate with the older generation and better access to public health services through proper management and distribution of medical donations nationwide. Importantly, doctors who participate in the activity do not charge any fees, because they belong to the NGO. Health situation in Lobitos Lobitos district has a Health Post class I-2. This health center has among its main functions: making health promotion, risk prevention and damage, recovery and rehabilitation of health; also, management functions. According to the National Households Survey (ENAHO, for its acronym in spanish) 2009, only 21.9% of the Economically Active Population occupied (PEA, for its acronym in Spanish) has access to safe Essalud and 45% are uninsured. Negritos Health Center has 19 health professionals and 4 general services.
