Chandira Choodeswarar Temple near Hosur
Located on top of a hill at Hosur, Chandira Choodeswarar Temple was constructed in the year 1260 by Thirupuvanamalla Barvatharaja Anthiyazhvar of the Hoysala dynasty. This temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and Goddess Maragadambal. It has various Teerthams like Maragatha Sarovaram, Vrishabha Theertham, Pandava Theertham, Jambava Theertham, Shivagangai and Hanuman Theertham.
