Registering as a BIG Assist Customer Registering to become a BIG Assist customer allows organisations to complete an organisational diagnostic.

With the help of the BIG Assist customer consultant this process provides organisations with the opportunity to reflect, assess and prioritise their organisational support needs. All eligible organisations will receive a report following this process which will identify the agreed priorities. There are three stages to becoming a customer and receiving vouchers: Stage 1 - Pre-qualification Before the customer completes the self-assessment, organisations must demonstrate that they are eligible for the programme this is done via an online pre-qualification question before you start your self-assessment. If you are unsure about your eligibility you can read our longer description of what an infrastructure organisation is or contact the BIG Assist Team direct. Stage 2 Self-assessment Once the pre-qualification questions have been completed customers can move on to completing the online self-assessment. The self-assessment contains a series of questions about your organisation and will take the customer approximately 2-3 hours to complete. The self-assessment needs to be completed by someone within the organsiation who has sufficient knowledge of the company Our customer consultant can support and provide advice on completing this if required. Stage 3 Review call Following the submission of the self-assessment our customer consultant will read through the information provided and undertake some brief desk research on each organisation. The consultant will then call the organisation to arrange for the review meeting. This is usually conducted over the phone, however may be undertaken as a face to face meeting. The purpose of the call is to identify the priority areas of need within your organisation and agree with you what the outcomes of any potential support through BIG Assist would look like. The consultant will ask questions about different aspects of your organisation including staffing, board and budget forecast for this year it is necessary therefore that this information is at hand. It is also helpful if organisations are able to review their self-assessment before the call takes place. The call also helps our consultant to assess organisational readiness and capacity to benefit (or change) from the support as well as the potential impact.

The review call will take approximately an hour. As a result of this process eligible customers may receive: A voucher valued between 2-7,000 which can be spent in the BIG Assist Marketplace Support through a visit to another infrastructure organisation Support through a mentor
