Outlook for 2012

By Caleb J Reed

First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge the wonderful movements of God in Bulahdelah over the past year. I look with immense enthusiasm to what is in store for 2012. This past term at BCS has been amazing; we have seen students grow in their interest and passion towards scripture. Also, I feel personally stronger through this experience and I would like to give God praise for that. I believe 2012 is set to be a big year for SRE in BCS. There are already plans to implement a lunchtime program, from which students, from any years, will be able to play games and hear the word of God. This will give me a chance to connect with students outside of the classroom, to show them the caring nature of God and my willingness to help the students in their journey of faith. I also believe that God is planting seeds of desire to start a Friday night youth group, as many students are showing interest. I believe that youth group is a fantastic way to share the gospel to young people in an non-intimidating environment. In overview, 2012 is set to be a big year, and I would expect nothing less when working with such an amazing BIG God. I eagerly anticipate what God has in store for the students and community of Bulahdelah, with faith that God's spirit is on the move.

Bob Baldwins view on marriage

As much as some want to say that God and Christianity have no place in our law making, they do. We do not sacrifice animals and read their entrails to tell the future, because we are Christians. We do not stone a female adulterer to death, because we are Christians. We do not allow people to have more than one wife, because we are Christians. And, in this instance, we are preserving the institution of marriage as being a union between a man and a woman, because we are Christians. There will be some in the community who will condemn me for being a God botherer, but I have to be true to my faith and beliefs. I am here today to not only serve the people of Paterson in the parliament but also serve God Bob Baldwinspeech in House of Reps 17th June 2004
