The internship enables the students to understand, how the theoretical knowledge can be applied to the practical situations. After completion of 15 compulsory courses of MBA (Banking and inance!, the students are re"uired to undertake training in a rele#ant organi$ation (Financial Institutions/ Stock Exchanges/Insurance Companies ! selected by them, for a period of %&' weeks. The uni#ersity may pro#ide an introductory letter addressed to the Management of the concerned organi$ation, if a student applies for the same. (uring internship, students are re"uired to e)amine an organi$ation*s financial issues and identify its problems+ opportunities, suggest correcti#e measures and submit a report as per the format pro#ided by the department.

The report format co#ers all the ma,or aspects of courses co#ered during MBA (Banking and inance! so -tudents may also add any additional information regarding inancial acti#ities of organi$ation in their reports. .n case, the report is not up to the prescribed standard, the students would be asked to impro#e and resubmit it. /nly those students are allowed to appear in 0i#a 0oce who submit pass result cards of all the re"uired courses and appro#ed copy of the internship report.
