MedTrue Mobile X-Ray Unit - Model# IP-M100mA (Mobile Medical Diagnostic X-ray Unit)
Film-Screen Radiography has an X-Ray tube that generates a beam of X-rays which is aimed at the patient. The X-Rays that pass through the patient are filtered by placing a device called XRay filter, made of aluminum to reduce scatter and noise, and strike an undeveloped film, which is held tightly to a screen of light-emitting phosphors in a light-tight cassette. The film is then developed chemically and an image appears on the film. Radiology is a medical specialty that employs the use of imaging to both diagnose and treat diseases visualized within the human body. An X-Ray imaging system consists of an X-Ray source or generator (X-Ray tube), an image detection system which can be either a film (analog technology) or a digital capture system. Diagnostic Radiography involves the use of both ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation to create images for medical diagnoses.
