Australia Awards in Pakistan

Australias international development assistance in Pakistan aims to work with the Government of Pakistan (GoP) towards a stable, secure, democratic country through broad-based social and economic development and poverty reduction in line with the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). AusAIDs Australia Awards are aligned with Australias development assistance in Pakistan, targeting human resource gaps in identified priority sectors. They aim to provide awardees with the skills and knowledge to drive change and influence economic and social development. AusAID will assess applicants for their professional and personal qualities, academic competence and, most importantly, their potential to impact on development challenges in Pakistan. AusAID offers awards on the basis of merit, transparency and equal access. We strongly encourage applications from women, people with disability and people working in the least-developed regions of the country; the provinces of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
