All new DigTech RP360 and RP360XP multi effects

Hot on the heels of the Elements and Elements XP multi-eects processors DigiTech has released the RP360 and RP360XP models, two guitar oor processors that oer over 160 eects and amp models, 198 presets, USB streaming for recording directly into a computer and much more. The RP360XP and RP360 feature an all-new design that makes it easier than ever to access hundreds of sounds with a large LCD display, simplied control layout and three foot switches that let players easily access all the pedals sounds, tweak them to their preferences and save their own personalized guitar tones.

The RP360XP has an integrated expression pedal, the two units are otherwise identical.

Both models are in stock and shipping now. The RP360XP has an RRP of 179 inc VAT and the RP360 135.

Washburn expands award-winning Parallaxe series

Washburn Guitars are pleased to announce new additions to its Parallaxe range of electric guitars which include Ola Englund and Trevor Rabin (Yes) signature series, 29-fret PXS models and PXL, PXS & PXM guitars at new lower price points.
The 100, 200, 1000 & 2000 series bring many of the most popular Parallaxe features to 11 new electric guitars. This great value range includes 6, 7 and 8-string guitars and (dependent on model) feature a Stephens Extended Cutaway/Full access set neck joint, Grover 18:1 tuners, Duncan Designed pickups, Buzz Feiten Tuning System and super jumbo frets. Prices will start at just 399 RRP inc VAT for the PXL1000 model. The PXL200 pictured will be 529 RRP inc VAT. The Trevor Rabin signature series consists of two Custom Shop-built guitars, the PXM-TR2 and PXM-TR20 (pictured). Both feature a mahogany body, full access set neck, carved flame maple top, Seymour Duncan pickups and standard Parallaxe features including the Buzz Feiten tuning system, Grover locking tuners and Series/ Parallel pickup switching. Ola Englund is widely known for being the guitarist for the bands such as Feared, The Haunted and Six Feet Under. He is also respected amongst the worldwide metal community for his professional YouTube demos. His Parallaxe Solar series consists of 6 and 7 string guitars offering the standard Parallaxe features with the addition of EverTune or Hipshot/style bridges. There are five USA Custom Shop and four Indonesian made models starting at just 579 RRP inc VAT for the PXSolar 160 6-String and 679 RRP inc VAT for the PX-Solar 170 7-String All new models will ship in the UK in June 2014.

JBL launch next generation EON

JBL Professional has announced the first of the next generation of EON600 series loudspeakers. The EON615 15 2-way speaker with 1000W power amplifier, was redesigned from the ground up using JBLs advanced waveguide technology (as found on the M2 and LSR3 series studio monitors) and special fluting which deliver uniform sound on and off axis. The EON600 series also features a new DSP input section with 5-way parametric EQ and user presets which can be remotely controlled over Bluetooth with an iOS or Android app.

Bass Whammy returns

Announced at the NAMM Show, the DigiTech Bass Whammy is optimised for bass guitar tones and maintains all the classic settings of the original pedal while offering a host of modern upgrades including true bypass, MIDI operation and more. The Bass Whammy will ship in March with an RRP of 179 inc VAT.

EBS Classic 500 and ClassicLine 210 cab

The EBS Classic 500 is the natural evolution of the previous EBS Classic 450 bass head with extra power and a new compact casing adding both flexibility and portability to an already extremely popular bass amp. With the new compact design, the Classic 500 is the perfect match for all EBS ClassicLine cabinets, including the new ClassicLine 210. The new design also works with the ProLine and NeoLine cabinets. The Classic 500 is available now with an RRP od 899 inc VAT. The ClassicLine 210 cabinet is also avaialnle now, priced at 449.

JBL adds subwoofer to LSR3 series

JBL Professional has announced a dedicated subwoofer for the LSR3 studio monitor series. The LSR310S is a 200W, 10 self-powered sub which delivers an low frequency response to 27Hz and combines with the LSR305 or LSR308 monitors to create an impressive full-range system. The LSR3 series is the first to incorporate JBLs groundbreaking Image Control Waveguide, providing detail and depth like never before and creating a wide sweet spot that means everyone in the room hears the same level of dimension and transparency. Crush Drums announces four new kits at NAMM Show

At this years Winter NAMM show, Crush Drums & Percussion have announced three new kits and host of new colours and configurations for the existing product line.
The popular Crush Acrylic series is now available in Red. A new 20, 10, 12, 16 configuration is also now available in both Red and original Clear acrylic finishes. The all-new Eminent Birch series kits feature 100% North American Birch shells and four stunning new finishes - Blue/Silver Sparkle Fade, Satin Walnut, Satin Vintage White and Red Sparkle.

The new Chameleon Complete includes a 5-piece hardware pack as standard and is available in four finishes - All-Black, All-White and new to the Crush product line, Light Blue Sparkle and Metallic Orange.

The Crush Sublime AXM kit is also now available in two new finishes - Trans Satin Black with Silver Sparkle and High Gloss White with Silver Sparkle.

EBS ValveDrive DI
EBS has updated the ValveDrive with the release of the ValveDrive DI which features an XLR-output, offering a balanced floating signal that allow the pedal to be plugged straight into a mixing console in the studio or at a gig. The former standard passive output is now a lowimpedance output so the ValveDrive DI can be used as a stand-alone preamp with an external power amp. RRP 269 inc VAT, shipping in March

Washburns parlour Larrive previews Swamp Ash limiteds resonator

Washburn Guitars is pleased to add a new and unique parlour sized resonator to its line of resonator guitars, the R360K. With the current popularity of Folk and Americana music styles, the R360K brings a unique voice to the genre, thanks to its smaller body. The Washburn R360K will be available from Q3 2014 with an expected UK RRP of 559 RRP inc VAT.

Larrive Guitars have announced a special edition of their -03 Series guitars featuring solid Swamp Ash back and sides. Built in the USA, the D-03A and OM-03A models are priced at just 1049 inc VAT and will be available in March.

Washburn Lakeside Jumbo models now shipping

Big, loud with a deep low end and warm but crisp and articulate highs, Washburn is shipping the Lakeside series, based on a guitar that was first introduced in 1912 when it bridged the gap between smaller bodied parlour guitars of the late 19th and early 20th century, and modern day dreadnought and jumbo acoustic guitars. The LSJ43S (RRP 369 inc VAT) is available in natural and tobacco sunburst finishes and features a solid sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides and a quarter sawn scalloped sikta spruce bracing pattern. It also has Wilkinson butter bean tuners and a period-correct Washburn logo and headstock. A baritone version - LSB768SE (RRP 429) - is also available and shares the same specification but has a 29 scale length, and includes a Fishman Sonitone pickup system.

DigTech Live Harmony vocal processor for live performance

DigiTech has announced the introduction of its Live Harmony, a vocal harmony processor that automatically provides guitarists with a wide range of harmonies and effects. Designed specifically for live performance, Live Harmony uses intelligent processing to create full, natural sounding three-part harmonies that perfectly track the chords the performer is playing. Live Harmony also features DigiTechs Live Adapt processing, which matches harmonies and effects like delay to the songs tempo, key, scale and Anti Feedback Suppression ensures vocal levels wont get out of control in tricky venues.

Soundcraft has added to its groundbreaking Si Performer Series digital consoles with the introduction of the Si Performer 1. Kurzweil sound editor apps for iPad

Previously available only for PC and Mac computers, Kurweil has released iPad app versions of the Artis and PC3K sound editor programmes. Both apps can be downloaded free from the Apple App Store now.
