Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited, the national flag carrier with an excellent work environment and a corporate culture, is looking for young individuals for the post of Flight Steward / Stewardess under the following terms and conditions: Eligibility for application: Citizen of Bangladesh Minimum HSC / A Level or equivalent. Third Division or equivalent grade (GPA less than 2.5 up to 2003 and 3.0 from 2004 out of 5.0 and less than 2.5 out of 4.0) in any public examination will not be acceptable. Minimum Age of 19 years and maximum age of 25 years for fresher. In case of experienced candidates (whom have working experiences as Cabin Crew), maximum age would be relaxed to 30 years. Minimum height 158 cm for Female and 168 cm for Male. Excellent health and medically fit to meet air crew requirements. Fluency in written & spoken English and must be able to swim. Positive attitude with the natural ability to provide excellent service in a team environment. Please note that experienced candidates will also be hired according to the following order: Ex Biman Cabin Crew Experienced in other airlines as Cabin Crew. About Your Job: Attending pre-flight briefing and carrying out pre-flight duties Greeting passengers as they board and exit the plane Showing passengers to their seats and providing special attention to certain passengers, such as the elderly or disabled Serving meals and refreshments Checking the condition and provision of emergency equipment and information for passengers Demonstrating emergency equipment and safety procedures Administering first aid Dealing with emergencies Supplying passengers with newspapers, magazines and in-flight entertainment Selling duty-free commercial goods and pursuing sales targets Producing written flight reports after completing a journey.
