Welcoming Adults & Children in 2014
Dear Parents, We have left 2013 with many great memories and events. In this brand new year, we have new courses for both children and adults. Besides our regular classes for Speech & Drama and Public Speaking, which began on the 4th January 2014, we will be holding an English Leadership Camp for three days at Eagle Ranch, Port Dickson from 24th - 26th March for children aged 10 - 17 years old. More info below. In regards to courses for adults, our intakes for Diploma in Teaching Speech & Drama by Trinity College London (formerly known as Trinity Guildhall London) is still open and will begin in February. Contact us for more info. Were also starting: Adult Acting Course, facilitated by a much respected Director, Playwright, Teacher and Trainer, Christopher Jacobs. Our timetable are as follows: Speech & Drama Saturdays 10am - 11am : Initial Grade (4-6 years old) Saturdays 10.30am - 11.45am : Grades 1 & 2 (7 - 10 years old) Saturdays 11:15am - 12:15pm : Grades 3 & 4 (10 - 12 years old) Saturdays 1.15pm - 3pm : Grades 4 - 6 (early teens) Public Speaking Tuesdays 4.30pm - 6pm : Grades 5 & 6 Saturdays 11.45am - 1.15pm : Grades 3 & 4 Saturdays 1.15pm - 3pm : Grades 4 & 5 Saturdays 3pm - 4.30pm : Grades 5 & 6

English Leadership Camp

Blubricks Malacca is holding an English Leadership Camp from the 24th - 26th March 2014 at Eagle Ranch Resort in Port Dickson. The purpose of the camp is to enhance a childs ability to apply effective communication skills in their daily life and particularly when leading. Hence the title - English Leadership Camp. During the camp, their leadership skills and knowledge of the English language will be put to the test. Therell be at least 5 sub stations and students will be put into groups where theyre to race against time to complete all 5 stations within time stipulated. Trophies/medals to winning teams. In the evening, their performing arts skills will be put to test because therell be a talent time contest as well.

Diploma in Teaching Speech & Drama

For those who are interested to become a Speech & Drama teacher or for educators who would like to enhance their teaching skills by incorporating drama into their lessons, then this is the course that may be suitable for you. Intakes for this course is closing on the 24th January.

Adult Acting Course

Theatre or Film enthusiast? Ever wondered how to act? Where to begin? Then this is it! An initial training programme for adults that introduces the tools with which to construct a proficient and meaningful dramatic performance. Class graduates will get the chance to be directed by Christopher Jacobs himself in a professional production at the end of the course.
