O SON OF MAN!

Many a day hath passed over thee whilst thou hast busied thyself with thy fancies and idle imaginings. How long art thou to slumber on thy bed !ift up thy head from slumber" for the Sun hath risen to the #enith" haply it may shine upon thee with the light of beauty. O SON OF H$M %HA% S%OO& '( H$S O)N *N%$%( $N %H* +$N,&OM OF H$S S*!F! +now thou" that $ have wafted unto thee all the fragrances of holiness" have fully revealed to thee My word" have perfected through thee My bounty and have desired for thee that which $ have desired for My Self. 'e then content with My pleasure and than-ful unto Me. O .H$!&/*N OF M*N! +now ye not why )e created you all from the same dust %hat no one should e0alt himself over the other. 1onder at all times in your hearts how ye were created. Since )e have created you all from one same substance it is incumbent on you to be even as one soul" to wal- with the same feet" eat with the same mouth and dwell in the same land" that from your inmost being" by your deeds and actions" the signs of oneness and the essence of detachment may be made manifest. Such is My counsel to you" O concourse of light! Heed ye this counsel that ye may obtain the fruit of holiness from the tree of wondrous glory. O .H$!&/*N OF %H* &$2$N* AN& $N2$S$'!* *SS*N.*! (e shall be hindered from loving Me and souls shall be perturbed as they ma-e mention of Me. For minds cannot grasp Me nor hearts contain Me. O SON OF MAN! %he light hath shone on thee from the hori#on of the sacred Mount and the spirit of enlightenment hath breathed in the Sinai of thy heart. )herefore" free thyself from the veils of idle fancies and enter into My court" that thou mayest be fit for everlasting life and worthy to meet Me. %hus may death not come upon thee" neither weariness nor trouble. O SON OF '*$N,! %hy heart is My home3 sanctify it for My descent. %hy spirit is My place of revelation3 cleanse it for My manifestation. O SON OF MAN! %he temple of being is My throne3 cleanse it of all things" that there $ may be established and there $ may abide. O SON OF '*$N,! How couldst thou forget thine own faults and busy thyself with the faults of others )hoso doeth this is accursed of Me. O SON OF '*$N,! %hou art My lamp and My light is in thee. ,et thou from it thy radiance and see- none other than Me. For $ have created thee rich and have bountifully shed My favor upon thee. O SON OF '*$N,! Ascribe not to any soul that which thou wouldst not have ascribed to thee" and say not that which thou doest not. %his is My command unto thee" do thou observe it.

O SON OF BEING! With the hands of power I made thee and with the fingers of strength I created thee; and within thee have I placed the essence of M light! Be tho" content with it and see# na"ght else$ for M wor# is perfect and M command is %inding! &"estion it not$ nor have a do"%t thereof! O SON OF M'N! (ho" art M dominion and M dominion perisheth not; wherefore fearest tho" th perishing) (ho" art M light and M light shall never %e e*ting"ished; wh dost tho" dread e*tinction) (ho" art M glor and M glor fadeth not; tho" art M ro%e and M ro%e shall never %e o"tworn! '%ide then in th love for Me$ that tho" ma est find Me in the realm of glor ! O SON OF +((E,'N-E! ("rn th face "nto Mine and reno"nce all save Me; for M sovereignt end"reth and M dominion perisheth not! If tho" see#est another than Me$ ea$ if tho" searchest the "niverse for evermore$ th ."est will %e in vain! O SON OF /IG0(! Forget all save Me and comm"ne with M spirit! (his is of the essence of M command$ therefore t"rn "nto it! O SON OF (0E WON1,O+S 2ISION! I have %reathed within thee a %reath of M own Spirit$ that tho" ma est %e M lover! Wh hast tho" forsa#en Me and so"ght a %eloved other than Me) O SON OF S3I,I(! No%le have I created thee$ et tho" hast a%ased th self! ,ise then "nto that for which tho" wast created! O SON OF (0E S+3,EME! (o the eternal I call thee$ et tho" dost see# that which perisheth! What hath made thee t"rn awa from O"r desire and see# thine own) O SON OF M'N! Breathe not the sins of others so long as tho" art th self a sinner! Sho"ldst tho" transgress this command$ acc"rsed wo"ldst tho" %e$ and to this I %ear witness! O SON OF M'N! 1en not M servant sho"ld he as# an thing from thee$ for his face is M face; %e then a%ashed %efore Me! O SON OF BEING! Bring th self to acco"nt each da ere tho" art s"mmoned to a rec#oning; for death$ "nheralded$ shall come "pon thee and tho" shalt %e called to give acco"nt for th deeds! O SON OF (0E S+3,EME! I have made death a messenger of 4o to thee! Wherefore dost tho" grieve) I made the light to shed on thee its splendor! Wh dost tho" veil th self therefrom) O SON OF M'N! Sorrow not save that tho" art far from +s! ,e4oice not save that tho" art drawing near and ret"rning "nto +s! O SON OF MAN! )ert thou to speed through the immensity of space and traverse the e0panse of heaven" yet thou wouldst find no rest save in submission to Our

command and humbleness before Our Face. O SON OF M'N! Magnif M ca"se that I ma reveal "nto thee the m steries of M greatness and shine "pon thee with the light of eternit ! O SON OF M'N! 0"m%le th self %efore Me$ that I ma gracio"sl visit thee! 'rise for the tri"mph of M ca"se$ that while et on earth tho" ma est o%tain the victor ! O SON OF M'N! For ever thing there is a sign! (he sign of love is fortit"de "nder M decree and patience "nder M trials! O SON OF M'N! M calamit is M providence$ o"twardl it is fire and vengeance$ %"t inwardl it is light and merc ! 0asten there"nto that tho" ma est %ecome an eternal light and an immortal spirit! (his is M command "nto thee$ do tho" o%serve it! O SON OF M'N! Sho"ld prosperit %efall thee$ re4oice not$ and sho"ld a%asement come "pon thee$ grieve not$ for %oth shall pass awa and %e no more!
