Meditation allows for more permanent benefits in the way your brain processes emotions. This is according to a study in the journal Frontiers in Human Neuroscience. So practice, practice, practice! Even if you don't feel results during or right after meditation, you may find yourself feeling the benefits of the meditation exercise throughout the day.
