#Protips
SCHEDULE LIKE A CHAMPION, BUT BE FLEXIBLE.
Pick out a handful of sessions and parties you denitely want to hit, allowing for travel time between venues. Be prepared to pivot your agenda as last-minute plans may arise. Build your schedule by visiting schedule.sxsw. com and/or download the SXSW GO app, which will allow you to manage your session picks onthe-go, in real time.

HOW TO ACT LIKE YOUVE BEEN THERE BEFORE

ARRIVE TO POPULAR PANELS EARLY.

When it comes to keynotes or panels with bigname speakers, youll want to arrive 30 minutes to an hour early to ensure you get a seat. Get there at the last minute and you might be forced to catch the action on a TV monitor in the hallway.

BE PREPARED FOR WHATEVER MOTHER NATURE THROWS YOUR WAY.

Austin in March is known for its multiple weather personalities, so youll want to monitor the forecast closely. Pack an umbrella or poncho and sunscreen and youll be ready for anything.

PORTABLE CHARGERS ARE YOUR (BEST) FRIENDS.

Remember, youll be on-the-go most of the day with limited access to charging stations and outlets. Pack a wireless charger with you for the day and you wont be hard up for juice when you need it most.

GET YOUR BEARINGS AHEAD OF TIME.

Spend some quality time with a map so you can easily plan your treks around the city. Most venues are within a few blocks, but its helpful to think through your mid-session commutes so as to not miss any of the action.

Southern Sustenance
FOR PRE-PANEL BRUNCH Hit up FRANK (407 Colorado St.) for a Red Headed Stranger the restaurants signature bacon-infused Bloody Mary. Alternatively, HI HAT PUBLIC HOUSE (2121 e. 6Th st.) is famous for its French toast drizzled with root beer maple syrup. FOR BBQ DONE RIGHT Theres no shortage of great barbecue spots in Austin. Area hotspots include: FRANKLIN BARBECUE (900 E. 11th St.) LOUIE MUELLER BBQ (206 W. 2nd St.) STUBBS BBQ (801 Red River St.)

NOSHING & NETWORKING LIKE A BOSS

Austins social scene is not to be taken lightly, with the bars, cafes and food trucks that line the streets serving as perfect opportunities to relax, network or catch up with old friends and colleagues.
FOR A COLD ONE OR COCKTAIL EASY TIGER (709 E. 6th St.) is known for its beer garden ( Food + Wine named it one of Americas best), retro dcor and ping pong tables. WHITE HORSE (500 Comal St.) is another popular spot during SXSW, and is known for its live music and famous spiked lemonade. FOR A MORE SOPHISTICATED EXPERIENCE Head over to BAR CONGRESS (200 Congress Ave.) for a nightcap or PECHE (208 W. 4th St.), a lounge known for making its own bitters.
