Divya Fashions Private Limited doesnt have a separate HR Department, but it performs all the functions that are performed by a company having a Human Resource Department. 1.1) Introduction and Objectives Human Resource Management is concerned with the peoples dimension in Management. Since every organization is made up of people, acquiring their services, developing their skills, motivating them to perform more efficiently and ensuring that they continue to maintain their commitment for the organization that will help to achieve organizational objectives. Objectives: To recruit & select required people for the organization. To provide induction & training to employees. To maintain the system for grievance handling. To provide proper compensation & various allowances to employee.

The company has policies for the following area: Induction and Joining Formalities Recruiting Staff Recruiting Workmen Working hours and attendance Absenteeism Management Performance Management of Employees Promotions of employees Training and Development Employee Grievance Handling

1.4) Human Resource Planning No manpower planning is done by the company in advance; whenever the need of a particular type of employee/worker arises the same is recruited at that time.

1.5) Job Description and Specification

Job Description An accurate description of what an employee will do on a particular position. It is statement which shows authority and responsibilities of particular employee General Manager General Manager is one who manages the functioning of the entire company and who manages the heads of different departments of the company. Manages Entire organization. Take reporting of all the departments. Resolve the problems of all departments and facilitate smooth functioning of all departments. Forwards the reports of all departments to Directors.

Managers 1) Dyeing Department Manager of dyeing department has to perform following duties:Decide process of Gray Cloth Plans and controls the process of conversion of Gray Cloth to Finished Good. Manages supervisors and workers of his department

2) Printing Department Manager of Printing department has to perform following duties:Decide the design to be printed on cloth on individual machine. Manages supervisors and workers of printing department. Check and Resolve the problems in printing process. Maintains the per day production target.

3) Maintenance Department: Manager of maintenance department is also called as Main Engineer and he has to perform following duties: Manages all machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance. Manages assistant engineers, fitters, electricians and workers. Make report of all machine checklist and conditions. Supervisors Supervisors of various departments as to perform more or less the same duties, such duties are as follows: Check the functioning of all the machines of his department. Manages the operators and the workers Prepare reports and submit the same to the Manger of particular department. Operators An operator has to perform the following Duties:Operate a particular machine assigned to him. Get the help from worker to do production. Produces the target quantity for a day.

Purchaser Purchaser has to perform the following duties: Purchases the raw material. Checks the quality of raw material. Manages the inflow and outflow of materials. Cashier Cashier has to perform following duties Makes Payment for purchase of raw materials. Make payment of salary and Wages to employees and workers. Accountant An accountant has to keep the records of all the transactions which occurs in and out of an organization. Workers Workers are the one who helps the operators of various departments by getting the raw materials from warehouse to the production place and then transferring the finished good to the place where particular type of finished goods are stored.

1.6) Recruitment, Selection & Induction Recruitment Company recruits people from following sources: Internal Sources 1. Present Employees

External Sources 1. Notice Board 2. ITI (Gujarat Government) Selection Selection of employee doesnt have any set standards or process an employee is selected on the basis of his skills and experience.

Induction Company conducts induction program were employees are introduced to heads of all departments. The employees are allowed to introduce themselves. They are made aware about their work & job profile. 1.7) Training Induction Training Production Training On the job Training

1.8) Evaluation and Control Evaluation of workers is done by the supervisors daily. Supervisors keeps an eye on employees work continuously and if the employee doesnt performs according to standards then necessary actions are taken. 1.9) Wages, Salary and Compensation Administration Function of Wages, salary and compensations is performed by Account Department. Wages are given to the workers on daily basis while salary is given to employees on monthly basis depending upon their post.

1.10) Grievance Handling If any employee has any problem, he can directly report the manager of respective department.

1.11) Provident Fund Scheme Provident fund is deducted on basic salary.5% of employee salary is deducted as PF.

1.12) Time office Company has time office which performs functions of attendance, entry and exit time of employees/workers and disciplinary action

1.13) Allowances to employee The company provides allowances to its employee as per the performance of the individual employee.

1.14) Welfare facilities Security. Insurance. 30 days leave in a year. Medical Allowances Common Room Bonus
