We used this in our project to help understand how Mao was a leader, by comparing and contrasting him with Ghandi. The artists painted and sculpted what they thought the Chinese Revolution of 1949 was like. This helped us understand a persons view on the revolution. This is a secondary source because the artists did not experience the revolution themselves.
