III. Indicator (s) : a. Cognitive Product : After learning this topic, students expected to be able to: 1. 2. Determine types of triangle based on size of sides. Determine types of triangle based on size of angles.
Process: After learning this topic, students expected to be able to: 1. Identify the properties of a triangle, student can be determine types of triangle based on size of sides 2. Identify the properties of a triangle, student can be determine types of triangle based on size of angle.
b. Afective Character 1. 2. 3. 4. Loving of God and all His creation Responsible Honest Respectful
5.
Care
Social skill 1. 2. 3. 4. Asking Giving an idea Being a good listener Being cooperative.
IV. Learning Objective(s) : a. Cognitive 1) Given a triangle figures to student by the teacher, then student can are expected to be able to write the properties of a trianglebased on size of sidescorrectly. 2) Given a triangle figures to student by the teacher, then student can are expected to be able to write the properties of a triangle based on size of angles correctly. 3) Given three triangles figures to student by the teacher, then student can are expected to be able to determine types of this triangle based on size of sides correctly. 4) Given three triangles figures to student by the teacher, then student can are expected to be able todetermine types of this triangle based on size of angle correctly. b. Afective Character Students involved in teaching and learning student-centered and students are given the opportunity to assess themselves against the awareness of presenting the characters. a) In teaching andlearning process, students can be trained to have a character of lovingof God and all His creation. Among students pray when starting and finishing learning process, and answer the teachers greetings. b) In teaching and learning process, students can be trained responsible characters. Among students do the tasksthat given in individual or group, participateand help my teacher work its teaching duty assignment, help her/his friend and teacher that they need, and able to present the task in individual or group. c) In learning process, students can be coached a honest character. Among those honest that do mathematics task that he/she get although its difficult for her/his and work on their own personal job.
d) In teaching and learning process, students can be trained respectful characters. Among students accept opinion from the other students, pay attention to the teacher who is explaining the material, do not make some noise. e) In teaching and learning process, students can be trained care character. Among students try to help friends or teacher who need(s). Social skill a) In group discussion or in the class, students actively ask questions. b) In group discussion or in the class, students actively provide ideas or opinions. c) In group discussion or in the class, students can be a good listenerand pays attention if her/his friend or teacher speak. d) In group discussion or in the class, students always be cooperative with her/his group or other.
c. Psychomotor 1. Given some gesture by the teacher, then students are expected to understand triangle and finally candetermine types of triangle based on size of sides and based on size of angle.
V Learning Approach : Contextual Teaching and Learning Learning Models :Cooperative learning model by STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) type Learning Method : Whole Brain Teaching
VI Learning Material : A. Triangle Triangle is built flat which has three sides and three vertices. A, B and C is a point of triangle ABC angle. C
AB, AC and CA are the sides of triangle ABC. Triangle ABC can be written ABC
Two picture above is triangle B. Type of triangles based on the measure of the angles Acute Triangles An acute triangle is a triangle whose angles are all acute( less than 90). In the acute triangle shown below, a, b and c are all acute angles.
Obtuse Triangles An obtuse triangle has one obtuse angle( greater than 90). The longest side is always opposite the obtuse angle. In the obtuse triangle shown below, a is the obtuse angle. Right Triangles A right triangle has one 90 angle (angle c in the picture on the left) A Right Triangle's Hypotenuse The hypotenuse is the largest side in a right triangle and is always opposite the right angle. (Only right triangles have a hypotenuse). The other two sides of the triangle, AC and CB are referred to as the 'legs'.
In the triangle on the left, the hypotenuse is the side AB which is opposite the right angle < C.
C. Types of triangles based on sides Equilateral Triangles An equilateral triangle has all three sides equal in length. Its three angles are also equal and they are each 60. An equilateral triangle is also an equl angular triangle since all its angles are equal.
Isosceles Triangles An isosceles triangle has two sides of equal length. The angles opposite the equal sides are also equal.
Arbitrary Triangles A arbitrary triangle has no sides of equal length. Its angles are also all different in size.
VII Media : a. b. c. d. e. Triangles Slide presentation Student worksheet Student book Teacher book
VIII Learning Process A. Opening : (10 minutes) No. Teacher Activities Aperseption 1. The teacher greets students and pray together before beginning the learning. Students answering the greetings and praying together with teachers Students are trained to love God and his creatures 2 minutes Students Activities Character Achievement (Achieve/Not) Time Allocation
Motivation 2. The teacher explains the importance of material today, for example, in order to be able to make a triangle and expected learning outcomes will be achieved by students, and motivate students by informing the application of trianglein real life.Recalling the material about quadrilateral. (Phase 1 STAD). Students listening explaination from the teacher and answer every question from the teacher (Making meaningfull conection) Students can be trained to be respectful and responsible. 2 minutes
3.
Teacher gives pre test to the students about triangle. ( Phase 1 STAD)
4 minutes
4.
Teacher gives
