POSITIONPURPOSE Toworkwiththeclimatechangeteamtoplananddelivercampaignactivitiestoconsistentwith ACFsStrategicPlan. KEYCOLLABORATIONS ClimateCampaignersworkcloselywithACFsinternalclimatechangecrossorganisationalteam. Externally,ourkeycollaborationschangeovertimebutmayincludeothercivilsociety organisationsandbusinesseswherewehaveasharedpurpose.Climatecampaignersalso maintainstrongrelationshipwithpoliticiansandtheirstaff,governmentdepartmentsand journalists. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES TocontributetoplanningandimplementationofACFsclimatecampaign ToleadprojectsandactivitieswithinACFsclimatecampaignasrequired TorepresentACFincollaborationswithcivilsocietyorganisationsandbusinesses TocollaboratewithACFssupporterengagement,climaterealityprojectandfundraising teamstoensureourmembersandsupportersareactivelyinvolvedinACFsclimate changecampaign TocollaboratewithACFscommunicationsandpublicrelationsteamtocommunicate withourtargetaudiencesthroughmedia,directcommunicationsandmarketing TospeakonbehalfofACFtothemedia,governmentandatpublicevents ToworkwithinternalandexternalpolicyexpertsandprepareACFpolicypositionsand submissions TocollaboratewithACFscommunicationsteamtocreatewrittenandvisualcontentfor ACFreports,onlinecontentandbriefingpapers. KEYPERFORMANCEINDICATORS TheperformanceoftheClimateChangeCampaignerwillbeevaluatedthroughanannual performancereviewtobeconductedbytheirManagerandassessedagainstbothgenericand annualKPIs(asnegotiated).Inthefirstyearoftheappointment,annualKPIswillbesetbytheir Manager.

KEYSELECTIONCRITERIA 1. Campaignplanninganddelivery:Plansanddeliverscampaignsthatutiliseasuiteof campaigntoolsincludingengagingsupporters,mediaandcommunications,directpolitical advocacy,fundraisingandcollaborationswithotherorganisations. Policydevelopment:ResearchesandformulatespolicysolutionsthatmeetACFsstrategic goals;negotiatessharedpolicywithcollaborationpartners;communicatespolicysolutionsto awidevarietyofaudiencesincludinggovernment,businessandmedia. ProjectManagement:Consults,liaiseswithandinfluencesstakeholders;producesdetailed projectplanswhereobjectivesareclearlydefinedandactionstepsforachievingthemare clearlyspecified;monitorsperformanceagainstobjectivesandmanagesprojectrisksand issues;ensuresprojectobjectivesaremet.
