What Action We need to collaborate with the Oside 2.0 leaders to ensure we are able to meet our timeline. We will start developing longterm goals. 1: Laying the Foundation

Ann, Tiffany and I make a strong team and we worked together to develop a realistic timeline. We need to develop long-term goals. My understanding has evolved. We need to ensure that our teachers also need to understand what blended/online learning is as we move toward a more blended model at Del Rio. We developed a solid working budget for Del Rios blended summer school program. We need to develop more blended programs for students in the OUSD.

2: Online and Blended Learning

Canvas was selected as OUSDs LMS. I am becoming familiar with it, but we need to help our teachers learn how to use it. Schedule professional development that will support teacher use of the Canvas LMS. Tiffany, Ann and myself along with Del Rios principal with the support of Oside 2.0 leaders and program specialists I will work with the Oside 2.0 program specialists to schedule Canvas PD. We are already using Canvas as a professional development tool. Teachers will begin creating their own courses before the end of the school year. Use the DCP materials for Del Rios BSS and consider for fall implementation

Because there are limited resources 5: Online for K-5 online Course Quality courses, Tiffany, Ann and I will need to develop our own program for Del Rios BSS. The District has Board Policies in 6: Digital place. We need to Resources/Curriculum develop an AUP. We are focused and have had success with our PD. PD will continue to be a challenge as we implement 1:1 iPads in the fall.

Review and use the Del Rios BSS content in the DCP teaching team that Bill offered to let us use free of charge for Del Rios BSS. Meet with the Oside 2.0 team to help update the Board Policy and draft an AUP. Continue to work with Ann and Tiffany and the Oside 2.0 leadership team to develop effective PD and support for our teachers. I would like to work with Oside 2.0 leaders to create the documents. Tiffany, Ann and myself along with Del Rios principal with the support of Oside 2.0 leaders and program specialists

Consider DSS as a resource for all Del Rio teachers.

Student/Parent handbook also needs to be updated. Canvas will need to become a focus of our PD

7. Teacher Support Plan

We need the policies to be updated and in place prior to the start of the 20132014 school year. Support teachers as they continue to explore iPad integration and begin to implement Canvas.
