1. Trained and knowledgeable persons should operate & maintain the UFSBI-SGE Double
line.
2. Battery voltage for UFSBI-SGE Double line should be checked periodically. It should be
within the operating range (21.6V 28.8V).
3. Connectors or Modules should be plugged / unplugged after switching off the Power
Supply.
4. Replacements of modules should be done with proper spares supplied by the
manufacturer.
5. Arbitrary or stray earthing connections are to be avoided. Periodic checking of earthing
connection is recommended.
6. Modules are to be inserted with proper alignment and with reaso nable pressure to ensure
that no damage to the connector pins occur.
7. In case of any alarm, all the processors alarm conditions are to be recorded for proper
analysis and remedial measures.

When the lnput channel senses the back contact ol the lnput relay, correspondlng green LLu

When the lnput channel senses the lront contact ol the lnput relay, correspondlng amber LLu
glows.

1he leedback Module reads back the status ol the 8 output relays lrom the spare lront & back
contacts ol the respectlve output relays through 8 lndependen t channels. 1here are two LLus
correspondlng to each channel.
When the leedback card senses the back contact ol an output relay, lt's correspondlng green

When the leedback Module senses the lront contact ol an output relay, lt's correspondlng
amber LLu glows.

normal operatlng range. ln case ol repeated trlp-oll, both the uc supply level and the loadlng
are to be checked. A healthy ulS8l-SCL uouble llne should not normally draw more than 3
Amp lor normal operatlon.

occurs then the buzzer wlll start beeplng and the summarlzed alarm wlll come ln the dlsplay ln
the lorm MA!C8: x MlnC8: ?", where x & ? are lntegers. 1he operator / malntalner wlll then
have to press the Ackn swltch to see the alarm status. As soon as the Ackn swltch ls pressed,
the buzzer wlll stop beeplng and the relevant laulty message lnlormatlon wlll be dl splayed.
Accordlngly the malntalner wlll carry out the rectlllcatlon [ob (e.g. replacement ol card,
checklng ol wlrlng) at the slte and alter the rectlllcatlon ls complete he should reset the system
and record the cause lor resettlng the system" ln the lo g-book. ll the rectlllcatlon [ob ls not
posslble by the malntalner at the slte then he wlll have to lnlorm the manulacturer.
Cnce a lault ls lound, the user should not attempt repalrlng at component level. 1he lmpalred
module / c8 needs to be replaced by a spare one.
