My house
Today Michael is going to have lunch at Helens house.
Helen Hello, Michael. Come in.
Michael

Hi, Helen, What a lovely garden! Are you going to show me the house?

Helen Yes, of course. Come in. Downstairs we have five rooms. Here, is the hall. On the right is
the living-room.
Michael

Oh, its so large. And so many plants!

Helen

Yes, my mother adores plants. Lets go. There, on the left of the front door there is

a toilet and here on the right next to the living-room is the dining-room. Opposite, on the left, is
the kitchen. At the end of the corridor in front of the stairs there is a pantry*.
Michael

Oh, thats nice. Shall we go upstairs?

Helen

OK. Upstairs we have three bedrooms, a study and a bathroom. Here on the right is

my parents bedroom. As you can see, it has a balcony which overlooks* the garden. Over there on
the right, is the study. Between the study and my parents room there is a bathroom.
Michael

I see. And these rooms on the left are

Helen

This one, opposite my parents room, is mine and that one, next to mine, is Peters

bedroom.
Michael

Very nice.

Helen

Lets go downstairs. I will show you the garden.
