Class attendance: Attending the classing is mandatory and strongly recommended. If you miss a class you are responsible for obtaining handouts and lecture notes from your classmates. You have up to six hours to miss, after that you will receive an FA letter grade in the course. Assignments: There will be a weekly assignment posted online every Wednesday. All assignments will count, NO throwing any homework scores. No late NO copy assignments will be accepted.

Sick policy: If you miss an exam due to illness, please bring me a letter from your doctor or the Dean of Student indicating WHY you cannot take the exam due to illness (not a letter saying that you have seen a doctor for some illness). There will be no excused exam without such a letter. If you have an unavoidable conflict with a scheduled exam, please let me know at least one week in advance so we can make arrangements. Beware! My incomplete exams are always harder than the regular exams. Final Exam: If you get at least 75% grade in the first or second exams, then you have the option to skip answering (not solving) final exam Part I and/or Part II covering material already included in the first or second midterms. In this case, the corresponding midterms exam grade(s) will be substituted. Complaints: Complaints about the grading of the exams should be made within one week after they are returned to you. No score adjustments will be made after the one-week period. If you desire a regrade on an exam first: have a look at the exam solution before. Second, please attach a note to your exam stating which problems and discrepancies you found.
