1C FIRST PICTURE In banks, computers store information about the money held by each customer and enable staff to access large databases and to carry out financial transactions at high speed. Computers are used to automate the accounts of customers classified in savings, checking, loans and various investments. The computer keeps track of customer account records through a record transaction history. They also control the cashpoints, which dispense money to costumer by the use of pin- protected card. Computers are also vital in supporting the activities of the bank branches. Internet Banking offers bank customers the option of online banking through a licensed bank website. SECOND PICTURE In education, computers help students to perform mathematical operations and improve their maths skill. They are used to access the internet, to do research and to communicate with other students around the world. Teachers use

projectors and interactive whiteboards to give presentations and teach sciences, history or language courses. PCs are also used for administrative purpose. A school website allows teachers to publish exercise for students to complete online. Students can also enroll for courses via the website and parents can download official reports. THIRD PICTURE Some of the uses of computers in airports are: 1) Air traffic control, landing and takeoff of aircraft, radar system management, weather conditions from the Control Tower. 2) The control of the flight instruments on airplanes. 3) Airport security. 4) The baggage check. 5) Communication between travel agencies and the airlines to book and buy tickets flight, departures and arrivals, schedules, etc. 6) Car rental. 7) Management of parking spaces. 8) Etc. FOURTH PICTURE The use of mobiles LAST GENERATION TO INFINITE TASKS: Make calls. Send text, photographs, videos. Communicating via text, voice and images. Internet access anywhere. Taking Pictures. Banking transactions. Shopping by phone. Search any kind of information. Listen to music Use your phone as a GPS to get somewhere. Use your phone as a calendar, alarm clock. Use your phone as a gaming console. Etc.

The basic cycle of operation of computers is based primarily on the input, process and output information . Inputs: is the process of introducing computer data, instructions or information needed from input devices such as mouse , keyboard, etc. . Process: It is what transforms an input to the system output , the data must be processed , reach the processor or central processing unit (CPU),which basically consists of the following elements the ALU ( Arithmetic Logic Unit ) and the control unit that data are obtained through the ram. Storage ** : The information is stored on the hard drive Outputs : It is a device by which the results of the programs implemented in the computer or in other words the results obtained are obtained by processing the inputs. The devices why we can see the results are monitors , printers , Speaker , Headset , Plotter , Projector , etc. .

Laptops mark is Dell and the model is the INSPIRON 9200. It has an intel core duo processor speed of 2.4 gigahertz processing speed. The RAM is 2048 megabytes expandable to 4 GB and hard drive capacity is 500 GB. Comes with pre-installed Windows Vista Home Premium.

1) The microprocessor (or just processor) is the central and most complex integrated circuit of a computer system. Is often called the "brain" of a computer. It is an integrated circuit made up of millions of electronic components. It is the central processing unit (CPU) of a PC. It is responsible for implementing programs from the operating system to the user applications, only running on programmed instructions low level language, making simple things such as add, subtract, multiply, divide arithmetic and logical operations, binary logic and accesses memory. This central processing unit consists of registers, a control unit, arithmetic logic unit (ALU) and a calculation unit floating point. 2) The speed of the CPU or processor in a computer is measured in number of cycles per second cycles or frecuency, namely measures the number of instructions or operations that the processor can perform per second. This number is too called clock speed (clock speed). Each cycle per second is one hertz. Hertz few others have, the higher the speed of a computer processing orders, although this rate may be influenced by many other factors. Multiples of hertz is used to measure the speed of the processor (1 megahertz (1000 Hz), 1gigahertzios 1000000 Hz) 3) The random access memory (RAM) is used as a working memory for the operating system, programs, and most software. That's where all the instructions the processor running and other computational units are loaded. They are called "random access" because you can read or write to a memory location with a timeout equal to any position, they need not follow an order to access the information as quickly as possible.

1)

The CPU consists of control unit, registers (memory elements containing information on the program is running and control of the processor itself) and the arithmetic and logic unit of a computer, that is, the block executes instructions that are located in memory. 2) The arithmetic logic unit (ALU) performs mathematical calculations( +,-,etc.) and logical operations( AND, OR, NOT). 3) A system clock sends out signals at fixed intervals to measure an synchronize the flow of data. 4) 1 GHz es one thousand million hertz, or cycles per second. 5) RAM 6) ROM 7) RAM capacity can be expanded by adding extra chips, usually contained in small circuit boards called dual in-line memory modules( DIMMs) 8) Motherboard. 9) Buses is electrical channels which allow devices inside the computer to communicate with each other. 10) Expansion slots allow users to install expansion cards, adding features like sound, memory and network capabilities.
