MEASURING TIP: Measure when piece is held up on needle horizontally, it is important not to stretch the piece when measuring. PATTERN: Row 1 (= WS): K all sts. Row 2 (= RS): K all sts. Row 3 (from WS): * K 2 tog, 1 YO *, repeat from *-*. Row 4 (= RS): K all sts. Row 5 (= WS): K all sts. Work 7-7-7-8-8-8 cm in stocking st. Adjust so that next row is from WS. Repeat this pattern. DECREASE TIP: Dec 1 st before 1st and 3rd marker as follows: K 2 tog. Dec 1 st after 2nd and 4th marker as follows: Slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso. BUTTONHOLES: Dec for buttonholes on right band. 2 buttonholes = K tog third and fourth st from edge and make 1 YO, and K tog third and fourth last band st and make 1 YO. Dec for buttonholes when piece measures: SIZE S: 28 cm SIZE M: 29 cm SIZE L: 30 cm SIZE XL: 30 cm SIZE XXL: 31 cm SIZE XXXL: 32 cm ---------------------------------------------------------BODY: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 204-220-240-256-284-308 sts (incl 18-18-20-20-22-22 band sts in each side) on circular needle size 4 mm with Lima. Work 7 ridges in GARTER ST - see explanation above. Switch to circular needle size 5 mm. Continue in stocking st but work 18-18-20-20-22-22 sts in each side in garter st (= bands). When piece measures 8 cm - read MEASURING TIP above, insert 4 markers in the piece from RS as follows: Work 18-18-20-20-22-22 sts in garter st (= band sts), 41-45-49-53-59-65 sts in stocking st, insert 1st marker, 2 sts in stocking st, insert 2nd marker, work 82-90-98-106-118-130 sts in stocking st, insert 3rd marker, 2 sts in stocking st, insert 4th marker, 41-45-49-53-59-65 sts in stocking st, finish with 18-18-20-20-2222 sts in garter st (= band sts). On next row from RS, dec 1 st at every marker Read DECREASE TIP (= 4 sts dec). Repeat dec every 5-5-6-6-4-4 cm 3-3-3-3-5-5 more times (4-4-4-4-6-6 times in total) = 188-204224-240-260-284 sts remain on needle. Work in stocking st until piece measures 28-29-30-30-31-32 cm - remember MEASURING TIP. Work PATTERN see explanation above but work 18-18-20-20-22-22 sts in each side in garter st on all rows (= bands) AT THE SAME TIME work BUTTONHOLES - see explanation above. When piece measures 31-32-33-33-34-35 cm, slip the first 56-60-66-70-76-82 sts and the last 56-6066-70-76-82 sts on stitch holders for front piece = 76-84-92-100-108-120 sts remain on needle for back

piece. BACK PIECE: = 76-84-92-100-108-120 sts. Continue with pattern, AT THE SAME TIME cast on 30 sts for sleeves at the end of the next two rows = 136-144-152-160-168-180 sts. Continue with pattern, but work the outermost 8 sts in each side in garter st AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm, cast off for diagonal shoulder from edge of sleeve at beg of every row as follows: Cast off 19-19-18-18-17-19 sts 1 time, then cast off 10-11-12-13-14-15 sts 4 times in total AT THE SAME TIME cast off for neck when piece measures 56-58-60-62-64-66 cm as follows: Cast off the middle 18-18-20-20-22-22 sts for neck. When all sts have been cast off, piece measures 58-60-62-64-66-68 cm. RIGHT FRONT PIECE: = 56-60-66-70-76-82 sts. Work band and pattern as before and at the end of next row from RS cast on 30 new sts for sleeve = 86-90-96-100-106-112 sts. Then work pattern but work 18-18-20-20-22-22 sts towards mid front and the 8 outermost sts on sleeve in garter st AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 33-34-35-36-37-38 cm, inc 1 st inside 1 edge st in band, repeat inc every 6th row 3 more times (= 4 times in total) = 90-94-100-104-110-116 sts (= 22-22-24-24-26-26 band sts in garter st on all rows). When piece measures 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm, cast off for diagonal shoulder on every row from edge of sleeve as follows (i.e. at beg of every row from WS): Cast off 19-19-18-18-17-19 sts 1 time, then cast off 10-1112-13-14-15 sts 4 times in total = 31-31-34-34-37-37 sts remain on needle for collar. Work in garter st over these sts with short rows, beg from RS: * 2 rows back and forth over the first 23-2326-26-29-29 sts, 2 rows over all sts *, repeat from *-* until piece measures 6-6-7-7-8-8 cm on the shortest. Cast off. LEFT FRONT PIECE: Work as right but reversed. ASSEMBLY: Sew shoulder/overarm seams and underarm seams. Sew the collar tog mid back and sew it to the neckline at the back. Sew on buttons.
