SUBJECT: NEW PARKING AND PUSH BACK PROCEDURE IN KOS

All ATR72 Cambodia Angkor Air's pilots;

CAMS, ATC in PNH and KOS.

I.EVENT:
On 4/1.0, head office of Cambodia Angkor Air received an official repoft from CAMS (ground handling company) in KOS about : On 3/10, flight K6 131 from REP

to KOS which taxied not following instruction of ATC and mashaller to parking.

II. EMPHASISE:
After evaluated all of reports from Captain, CAMS and recommendation from experts of VNA ATR72 fleet. Flight Operation Division would like to inform all of our pilots as below:
-The communication between ATC and pilot was poor. So ATC could not understand what was pilot's request. -Captain taxied aircraft to parking while he was thinking ATC controller had the same idea with him. -Parking in KOS had been designed and implemented since 1" October 2012.lt requires arrival aircraft to park facing terminal.

-Tow truck is ar ailable noia in KOS.

III.CAUTION TO PILOTS:
-Respecting to instruction of ATC and mashaller at any airport.

If there is any

reason that make you unable to comply to them. stop aircraft on taxiway (or any place

NOT obstruct the other traffics). All of request must be short and clear. For example:
"K6...request hold at present position" or

"K6... request other parking stand for safety reason".

"K6 ... request to park arywhere facing heading North/South/East/West to avoid tailwind during start engine".
"I will explain to you directly after aircraft stopped".

Try not to make long explanation on radio call. If ATC still do not understand, do NOT move your aircraft by your own. In the case of ATC could not clear you to requested parking. You must accept it . Before any movement ,pi1ot must ask :
"

K6 request taxi clearance to your parking"

At parking, with H-mode , if tailwind condition is above limitation. Captain must monitor engine parameter closely or shutdown if necessary.

At departure, if taiiwind is still strong. Captain must brief directly with ground
crew before main door is closed about procedure:

l.Heading to push.
2.Connecting tow-bar for push back.When ready to push, disconnect GPU and start pushing.When push back is completed, connect GPU for start engine. Thank you very much for your cooperation and have all safety flights!
