Boston is the innovation capital of the United States and the home of leading U.S. universities. For those reasons, it is our chosen location for a conference outlining a vision for enhanced collaboration in research and innovation within the context of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). The event will provide an overview from policy makers, scientists, and business representatives. The presentations will include several case studies to estimate the impacts of the TTIP on matters such as transatlantic cooperation in science innovation, and economic growth in general. There will also be discussions of issues of intellectual property protection. The conference should be of interest to academics, government representatives, and business practitioners involved or interested in transatlantic collaborations.
