PALM SUNDAY 13 April Hosanna to the Son of David. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. 0800 Holy Communion 1000 Procession of Palms and Choral Eucharist The Service begins at The Castle Keep before the Procession of Palms moves to the Cathedral. Music to include Kleine OrgelMesse by Joseph Haydn sung by the Girls and Lay Clerks. 1800 Choral Evensong The Service will include the Lay Clerks singing the first part of Thomas Tallis The Lamentations of Jeremiah. Monday 14 April 0800 Holy Communion 0830 Morning Prayer 1400 - 1530 Spiritual Conversation and Confession St Georges Chapel will be set aside for private prayer and reflection. A priest will be available for spiritual conversation and confession. 1730 Evening Prayer 1800 Holy Communion with Reflection Tuesday 15 April 0800 Holy Communion 0830 Morning Prayer 1230 Holy Communion 1730 Evening Prayer 1800 Holy Communion with Reflection Wednesday 16 April 0800 Holy Communion 0830 Morning Prayer 1030 Holy Communion 1730 Evening Prayer 1800 Holy Communion with Reflection

MAUNDY THURSDAY 17 April Love one another as I have loved you: Do this in remembrance of me. 0830 Morning Prayer 1100 Chrism Eucharist with the Blessing of Oils and Renewal of Commitment to Service The Service will include music by William Byrd and Maurice Durufl sung by the Lay Clerks. 1730 Evening Prayer 1800 Sung Eucharist of the Last Supper with the Washing of the Feet, Stripping of the Altar and Watch of the Passion The Service will include music by Zoltn Kodly and Peter Nardone sung by the Girls and Lay Clerks. GOOD FRIDAY 18 April We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you. By your Holy Cross you have redeemed the world. 1400 The Liturgy of Good Friday After a period of silent witness in the Square outside, the cross is brought into the Cathedral where it remains the focus of this service of prayer and reflection on the Lords Passion. With music to include Toms Luis de Victorias Reproaches and setting of The Passion Gospel sung by Choristers and Lay Clerks. EASTER DAY 20 April Alleluia, Christ is risen! He is risen indeed, Alleluia! 0700 The Easter Vigil with Baptism and Confirmation We listen to Old Testament readings telling of Gods plan for creation and redemption. The Easter fire is lit and the Paschal Candle brought into the Cathedral where the good news of the Resurrection is joyfully proclaimed. 1000 Festal Eucharist The Service will include music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Charles-Marie Widor sung by the Boys, Girls and Lay Clerks 1800 Festal Evensong The Service will include Charles Villiers Stanfords Evening Service in A and Samuel Sebastian Wesleys Blessed be the God and Father sung by the Boys, Girls and Lay Clerks
