Earth is in trouble - fossil fuels are in low supply and citizens of the Earth are desperate for materials to create fuel for energy. How can you help? (distance from the sun) On Titan there is an abundance of solid and liquid methane. Liquid methane can be used as a heating source for buildings and homes. It can also be used in the generation of electric power. Due to the great distance between Titan and Earth, we cannot give away all our methane for free. But if we are given an according payment, we can afford to send shipments of methane going from our moon to Earth. Earth will be expected to have necessary fuel and resources to supply the Titan ship on its way home, not to mention the payment. Also, because of the toxicity of methane to the human body, we will ship the methane in air-tight tanks. Methane is a component of natural gas but not tons of methane is given at once to the human body, since we are distributing tons of methane we will need to make sure that Earth watches the amount of Methane that is in the air due to risk of fatalities if methane is breathed in too much. We are too far away from the sun to be able to collect solar power like mercury would be able to. Mercury is closest to the sun at a distance of 57,910,000 km which makes collecting solar power very easy for them unlike us far away planets. (expand upon what will happen when the earth is waiting for the methane shipment.) A meteor just crashed into the Earth. We need to relocate the citizens who were displaced by this catastrophe. (size, ability to support life) Titan is the second largest moon in our Solar System, so we can take an estimate of 2,000 of these citizens. We will make sure that they have all they need to survive to adapt to the poisonous atmosphere of Titan, including safety classes and the proper equipment to stay safe on Titan. We can fly over to Earth and take the 2,000 citizens that we can fly them back but we will need Earth to supply us with the needed fuel for the long journey home. Each planet/moon will take a number of citizens according to their size and their ability to support life. For example Pluto will not be able to take as many citizens as Titan because of its size. Mars has a penal colony for UCSS criminals. The prisoners have escaped from the planet. What can you do to help us resolve this crisis? (Ability to support life) ForthecriminalstoescapeMars, theywouldhavehadtoleavewithaspaceship.Eventually, theprisoners wouldrunoutofresourcesfood, fuel, oxygen, etc.andtheydhavetoland, andinordertolandsafely, theydhavetouseaspaceport.TheAPTcandoitspartincatchingthecriminalsbysettinguphighsecurity systemsatallspaceports, andinterrogatingallpeoplewhoarrive.Alltheothercoloniesshoulddothesame, butcoloniesthathavesimilarsurfacefeaturesandabilitytosupportlifeasMarsshouldhavehighersecurity systemsthantheplanetsthataremoredifferentfromMarsbecausetheconvictswouldhavetheright equipmenttoadapttotheplanetsclimateand/orterrain.Forexample,EarthissaidtobemuchlikeMars butverydifferenttosoEarthwouldbeagoodplacetochecktoseeifthatiswheretheprisonersare. We need to do a UCSS census. What will your colony need in order to complete this? We will hire teams of people (one team per neighborhood) to go from door to door of all the houses on Titan to record the number of people living there. Since we only have 40,000 people this will be possible for us. Unlike Mercury which has 80,000 people and it would be a lot harder for them to get a census using our method. We

would have these people go on special vehicles made to travel over the rough climate and terrain of Titan while keeping its riders safe. The hired teams would have to be able to stand rough terrain while keeping warm in the cold weather that we experience here on Titan. Unlike mercury we would have to wear thermal suits to keep us warm because we are sooo far away from the sun. An ideal land-vehicle for transporting the census-takers safely would have to be able to provide them with fresh oxygen while they were on board, not to mention Co2 filters. Because of Titans cold climate (being quite far from the sun) the vehicle would have to provide the riders with enough heat to keep them from freezing to death. The machinery used to make the vehicle would also have to be able to withstand Titans cold climate. The vehicle should also include a first-aid kit and have large spiked wheels so that the vehicle could get by with Titans rocky terrain. (Emily) The All-Systems Olympics are being in the near future. Where should it be hosted? (surface features, gravity, and composition) The colony of Titan agrees that the best place to host the next All-Systems Olympics would be at Titan due to the mountains and ice that covers the floor of this moon. The mountains would be great for skiing and the ice would do well for the ice skating. There is also parts of the moon that is not covered with methane these areas could be used for the events that do not involve ice or snow. We would have all the safety equipment that was needed due to extreme temperature and too much intake of methane, for the people coming to Titan so they could stay safe. (expand upon how we would get proper safety equipment.) Titan is almost as big as Earth meaning that Titan could easily hold the number of people that would come for the Olympics. The amount of gravity that Titan has a gravity of 1.353 m/s which is a little bit more than Earths moon which has 1.622 m/s meaning that we would fall a little faster making sports for some a little easier than playing the sports on Earths moon. Ganymede is like Titan in many ways but has a little more gravity than Titan and is a little bit bigger than titan two. Ganymede has many craters that we could fill with water that could easily freeze and become an ice skating rink. The craters could be smoothed and used as skiing hills. Some of Ganymede has a smooth surface and so that would be perfect for those sports like running, volleyball, and gymnastics. Due to extreme temperatures and not a lot of oxygen we would provide survival equipment and give safety classes just like on Titan.

(Emily) Neptune and Pluto's overlapping orbits will cause them to collide in the next 10 years. What do we need to do to prepare for such an event? (ability to support life and size) To prepare for the collision of Neptune and Pluto we should evacuate the inhabitants immediately. Along with the inhabitants will come all valuable items, such as fuels, scientific machinery, and any other important items to that planet. Even though we still have ten years before it should actually happen it is better to prepare the evacuation plans and have everybody leave earlier. The faster we can evacuate the inhabitants the safer they will be. Each of the planets could take an according portion of the refugees. Titan can take 1,000 of the refugees due to our capability of maintaining more inhabitants and our size. (expand upon why we cannot take more.) Before taking the inhabitants of Pluto and Neptune to their new planets, the planets that they are heading to need to be prepared to have more citizens on their planet. Such preparations include housing, landing, and other necessities for life. We will be able to take more than inhabitants mercury due to the size of our planet. The diameter of Titan is 5150 km and the diameter of Earths Moon is only 3474.8 km (expand upon survival equipment) Other things to think about... How do you breath? We have a space suit like that of on the moon except it is less bulky. The tank is connected to an air tight mask that we wear so we can breathe in the oxygen they are providing us.

What kind of protection do you need? (pressure, radiation, oxygen, temperature, dangerous surface features) We wear a thermal suit because of how cold it is on Titan. We also wear a lightweight tank and a mask for getting oxygen. Our suits are made of hardy but flexible material because Titan is a rocky planet Where are your homes located? Are homes are located away from the methane lakes but on the surface of the planet because we need as much heat from the Sun as possible. Are homes are close to the sand dunes. What kind of jobs are available? Jobs as doctors, researchers of medicine, pilots, airport check in, information about our planet, museum owners, shop owners, waiters, restaurant caters, chefs, safety class instructors, professional sport coaches, business managers, accountants, public transportation managers, population trackers, safety equipment maker brands, experimental scientists, space attendants, builders, flight crew, miners, and much much more. What is it like to move around? To move around it is like everything is in slow motion except slightly faster because Titan has less gravity than Earth but more gravity than the Earths Moon. If your object is rotating, how many Earth hours is one day? How long is daylight available? One day is about 16 Earth days. Sunlight is quite dim. How many Earth days is one orbit around the Sun? It takes 10,585 days to orbit around the Sun once for Titan.
