Features of Sulfaflux
Sulfaux are a mixed amines based range of HS scavengers that are completely soluble and highly eecve in either the oil phase or water phase or a combinaon of both. Sulfaux has been proven to outperform convenonal chemical soluons and has shown to be a cost eecve method of treatment for HS in crude oil or gas. To achieve an eecve HS Scavenger it will depend on the product dissolves and the me taken to react. Sulfaux HS Scavengers have been shown to quickly dissolve into the uid containing the oending HS and then very quickly react with the scavenger molecules. It is this calculaon that is used by Chemiphase when designing a HS Scavenger. When determining the correct Sulfaux Treatment by the Chemiphase Technical Team, the following parameters will be assessed : Design of system and typical ow rates. Benefits of Sulfaflux
Sulfaux will not increase the corrosion rates of the uids it is used in when combang HS levels. Sulfaux has been shown not create Calcium Scale Deposits when applied which is unlike convenonal water based HS Scavengers Soluons. Sulfaux will not create increased levels of foaming when administered. Sulfaux is a very stable and is easy to apply. Sulfaux has a very high stable temperature prole which allows Sulfaux to be used in either the Oil Phase or Water Phase. Sulfaux can be used in treatment systems up to 150C without the product destabilising and beginning to decompose. Sulfaux HS Scavengers can be either 100% Water Soluble or 100% Oil Soluble or Soluble in both phases. The correct Sulfaux product is determined by the Chemiphase Technical Team when assessing the treatment parameters. Sulfaux HS Scavengers are compable with the following materials : Carbon Steel, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel 304 & 316. No signicant changes with HD PE & PP, PTFE, VITON & EPDM.

The acceptable eciency rate for H2S scavengers is 4-5 ppmv Scavenger / ppmw H2S at maximum value. The results show that the Competor Product, while somewhat eecve, is above this value (7,55). On the other hand, the product Sulfaux CT21-03 has an average eciency value of 2,30, which is well below the acceptable threshold. In other words, the Sulfaux CT21-03 eecveness is much higher than the acceptable performance.
