Current Condition

Upon initial sur4ey* no ma9or problems 6ere obser4ed in the present condition of the collection. .he paper materials seem to be in good condition* e4en the older parts of the collection* as are the 4ideos. Some minor staining of papers 6as obser4ed* but no tears or other damage. 3o preser4ation issues 6ere obser4ed. .here are some metal staples* but they present no ob4ious threat. ,hotographs 6ill be slee4ed and ne6s clips photocopied onto acid free paper if either of those are found in the collection. 3o apparent restrictions issues e<ist. >iles 6ill be re4ie6ed 6ith an eye to possible sensiti4e data. +cid free letter%si;ed folders 6ill be utili;ed to house the bul7 of paper materials. 3o special containers are planned at this time.
