Should you be elected, what are three specific areas youd like to change, address, improve or further research,
and how specifically would you go about it?:
I would like to work with the other judges to continue to improve the online filing system so eventually all civil
cases will be able to file online just as they are in the federal system now.
I would continue to keep the docket moving just as Judge Gibson does now so cases are tried in a timely manner
and would continue to have cases heard within one year of filing.
I think it is important that we explore a drug court in Lake County Common Pleas. As a prosecutor I have seen the
explosion of heroin cases in our county, and we as public officials need to help stop this horrible trend.

Whether for past accomplishments or future goals, why should voters elect you?
I am the only Democratic in this race who has been a prosecutor, defense attorney, acting judge, law director and
legal counsel for a union. The common pleas court is a trial bench you need someone who has the right trial
experience. In my 27 years of experience have tried 138 jury trials and over 350 bench trials. I have also had over
75 cases in the Eleventh District Court of Appeals and argued twice before the Ohio Supreme Court. I am
endorsed by the Lake County Democratic Party and recommended by the Lake County Bar Association. I have
practiced in Lake County my entire career and 90% of my cases have been right here in Lake County.
