STEEL INDUSTRY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

SYNOPSIS

Definition

I prepare the project of Steel Industry Management System on Windows XP. Because I have knowledge of VB and Ms-Access it. Steel Trading is very different types of subject there are many types of product in over project and give a very smooth and very easy detail in over project and also relative physical detail in customer to our project.

Scope It works on Windows XP and appears version windows. It is user friendly all information is English like language. There for any user can easily use this project.

The steel used in all places like home, factory ,electrician job, to supply the water etc.,.The steel trading business has various types of steels like metal steel, plastic steel, pvc steel etc.,.The steel has differ depending upon the rate,dia(inches), length etc.,. The steel traders buy to sell the various type of steel from other steel traders, and sell the steel to the customers and the have some varieties of steel in stock. Now-a-days comes the different types of steel. The steel has various colors available, the entire steel trading management system an application that handles various modules. This project helps to develop to manage the steel trading details like purchase, sales, staff, stock, expenses, income details etc. The system can access by every one of the steel traders. The steel trading management system project has two main modules like admin and user. The admin module can manage master, transaction, view, reports these modules. The user can manage view module and report modules. This Steel Trading Management System software developed in vb 6.0. This software is developed in such a way , So the user can do continues transaction fast and efficiently. There are 2 types of users in this software, admin and user. Admin has the right to delete and update all the record, user can just enter the records or transactions. billing is done automatically using this software. Admin can view the income and expenditure of the shop using this software, their stock details can also be seen to the admin using this software.

The Steel Trading Management System is an application, which involves administrational functional, related to various details like stock maintenance, sales list, purchase list, billing list etc. Realizing the need

for quick retrieval and easy management of data, the system was studied in depth, analyzed and computerized.

Owing to the number of drawbacks evident in the existing system, an automated solution is proposed. The Proposed System aims to remove most of the drawbacks found extensively in the existing system. The software is aimed to simply the complex and redundant process. The proposed system being developed as a replacement for the existing system is a graphical user interface with good interactions with the database.

The proposed system has certain Modules. These are as below, Login User, Administrator, Purchase, Sales, Billing and Stock. Hence the proposed system is complete automation. The Proposed system has been developed under VISUAL BASIC front-end and MS-ACCESS as backend. Thus Proposed System attempts to solve all the drawbacks of the existing system. Some of the Advantages of the Proposed Systems are automated activity, Platform Independent, Portability, Faster, and Maintains proper Flow of control and relationships, Security, Addition, Deletion, Modification and View can be made easily.

MAIN MODULES: Admin User

ADMIN: Master Transaction Purchases Sales Stock Suppliers Customers View (steel models) Reports

USER: View (steel models) Sales Purchase Customers Suppliers Reports

MASTER:

The MASTER module has supplier,customers,mobiles,staff,expenses, income,stock.we can add the supplier details like supplier

name,address,contact no, steel name etc.,customer details has customer id,customer name, address etc., the steel detail has steel name, steel model steel length ,price, etc., the staff details have staff name, staff id, staff salary, address ect.,The expenses details have what types of expenses, date of expenses etc., we can see the income details of steel.

TRANSACTION:

The TRANSACTION module has purchase details, sales details and stock details. The purchase form has the steel name, model no, supplier name etc., the sales form has the customer name, steel model, price etc.,The stock details have the stock of the mobiles like opening stock, closing stock etc.,

Customer Detail: Customer details form contains customer id, customer name, customer address, contact no, city, pincode etc.,

Supplier Details: Supplier details form contains supplier id, supplier name, supplier address, contact no, city, pincode etc.,

Purchase Detail:
Purchase details form contains Purchase_Date, Supplier_Id, Supplier_Name Product_Code, Product_Name, Product_Category, Product_Quantity, Product_Price, Total_Price

Sales Detail:
Sales details form contains sales_Date, Customer_Id, Customer _Name Product_Code, Product_Name, Product_Category, Product_Quantity, Product_Price, Total_Price

Stock Detail:
Stock details form contains Purchase_Date, Supplier_Id, Supplier_Name Product_Code, Product_Name, Product_Category, Product_Quantity, Product_Price, Total_Price

Income details:
Income details form contains sales_Date, Customer_Id, Customer _Name Product_Code, Product_Name, Product_Category, Product_Quantity, Product_Price, Total_Price

VIEW (the steel model)

The VIEW details have the details of mobile, it shows the steel images with price, model.

REPORTS:

The REPORT details display all the reports like purchase, sales, expenses, income, stock, and staff details.
