Should you be elected, what are three specific areas youd like to change, address, improve or further research,
and how specifically would you go about it?:
1) Lower taxes: yes, this is the mantra of every politician
____________________________________________________________________________________

everywhere, but since I'm not a politician I actually mean it.
____________________________________________________________________________________
Lower taxes = more jobs. It's common sense, lowering taxes and
____________________________________________________________________________________
fees allows businesses to invest more money to create new jobs.
More jobs result in more consumer spending, increasing revenue
____________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________
to the county without increasing the tax rate. Everybody wins!
___________________________________________________________________________________
2) Lack of Transparency: Our Commissioners currently hold their
___________________________________________________________________________________
meetings during regular business hours, which makes it impossible
___________________________________________________________________________________
for responsible citizens who want to oversee their representatives
to be a part of the process. This has long been a complaint that
____________________________________________________________________________________
has
fallen on deaf ears, and I intend to influence the schedule so
____________________________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________________________
meetings are held at times convenient for the citizens, even if
____________________________________________________________________________________
they're no longer convenient for our public servants.
3) Re-establish strong local sovereignty to help protect against
____________________________________________________________________________________
ever-increasing over-reach by the Federal Government, such as:
____________________________________________________________________________________
- Illegal Immigration (major problem in Lake County)
____________________________________________________________________________________
- New language in NDAA makes it legal to incarcerate US Citizens
____________________________________________________________________________________
INDEFINITELY without trial
____________________________________________________________________________________
Redistribution of wealth through Regionalism
____________________________________________________________________________________
- Potential confiscation of personal firearms
____________________________________________________________________________________
Whether for past accomplishments or future goals, why should voters elect you?
Not only am I informed and well-versed on the issues which have
____________________________________________________________________________________
immediate and future impacts on our economy and individual freedoms,
____________________________________________________________________________________
but I have experience in standing up for our Constitutional values
____________________________________________________________________________________
against forces that would prefer to change or even eradicate those
____________________________________________________________________________________
principles. Both of my opponents support some of the very things
____________________________________________________________________________________
I have spent so much energy to protect us from, and both are
____________________________________________________________________________________
susceptible to "Party over Principle". Assuming a Republican wins
____________________________________________________________________________________
the Commissioner's seat in November, that person will be an ideological
____________________________________________________________________________________
minority for the next 2 years, minimum. This means that in order to
____________________________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________________________
affect a conservative influence into County government this Republican
____________________________________________________________________________________
will need to be strong enough to stand for our conservative values, in the
face of opposition from the other Commissioners as well as the
____________________________________________________________________________________
Republican party in some cases. I am the candidate who possesses these qualities.
