-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Adelaide,SA- The crowd at Coopers Stadium had been quiet for most of the night. Andrew Mano again had been patchy at best and his interception in the 2nd quarter was about as bad as it gets. They had almost forgotten about just what heroics Mano can bring to the table and why he is still the starting Quarterback. But Mano reminded us all of just what he is capable of in an unstoppable 15 minutes to steal victory from the jaws of defeat. "Sometimes it just clicks" Mano said. "I make the same throw several times a game and sometimes it gets picked and sometimes its a touchdown. Today it felt right, it felt good and it was a great win". Wellington were shocked by the loss. They had been the better side for most of the night. "I thought we were a 20 point better team. Not just a better team" said Nick Flemming. "This loss hurst. It really does. It was one that got away". The Falcons scored first through a 43 yard Brodie Sullivan field goal but Wellington Quarterback Rod WIlliams struck twice. Both times to young receiver Rowan Binge. The visitors then added field goals either side of the halftime break. Troy Williamson again was a factor after being almost shut out in the first half. Williamson was doubled nearly all game but it did not stop him collecting 6 catches for 130 yards. It was all going so well. Then perhaps the inspiration behind the comeback was Sullivan, the kicker. In difficult, breezy conditions he drilled a 50 yarder that had the Falcons down by just 14. 2 plays later Williams panicked and Jade Radan was on hand for the pick. Mano ran in the score. 7 down. The Diesels really closed down and the Falcons had them punting before they knew it. Mano then went deep to Jamie Jenkinson who broke free of a double coverage and scored. All tied away at 20 all with still 3m50 left. Williams again was looking nervous in the pocket. He tried to get the ball on third and long over the middle but only found Chris Strickland for another interception. Adelaide not content on winning this any old how had Mano work play action and then go deep to his Tight End Sam Crocker. Crocker toughed out the catch and then with all his speed outlasted the cover to score from 73 yards. "I am not sure if I should be happy for the win or disappointed at how we played. We have to find the happy medium of playing well for the entire game otherwise we will not get out of jail next time" said Coach Sing.
