Books, plays, films, and television shows



The Goldfinch is about a thirteen year old boy who
survives an attack of terrorism in an art museum. The boy finds
himself in possession of a valuable painting.







The story of Dr. Zhivago is available as a novel, a film, and a
television program. It is also a musical play. The movie version
traces the life of Zhivago during World War I and the Russian
Revolution.

A future time clause uses the simple present tense.
Future time clauses can begin with: before, after, as soon as, until, when.


I will finish this work in the garden before it gets dark.




The simple present tense is used in zero and first conditional sentences.
We use the zero conditional to talk about a result that will always happen.





If water boils, it turns to steam.





We use the first conditional to talk a result that is likely to happen.




If it is a nice day tomorrow, I will go to the beach.
