Provo, Utah 84604 #2804 Deckle cut blade in your combo trimmer, trim top and
877-386-8264 bottom edges and ink with colors from chocolate and blueberries.
5. Trim the remaining 12”x 2’’ strip down to 8’’ using the same blade in the trimmer
to make the month tile. The remaining 4’’ will make one name tile. Cut three more
name tiles from another piece of the Cosmo Cricket umbrella paper using the same
blade making them 2’’x 4’’. Also cut a strip 12’’x 2’’ for the quote strip and two more
tiles 3’’x 1’’ for the today’s tasks and shopping lists tiles. Ink all the edges in the
relevant colors.
6. Mount the name tiles, month tile and list tiles
on to white cardstock with the Glue Glider Pro and
freehand doodle a scallop edge, cut them out with
scissors and ink in relevant colors.
7. Doodle around the month tile, list tiles, write
the quote strip and adhere chip alphas to the name
tiles.
8. From the yellow side of Cosmo Cricket Car-
bonation paper cut two rectangles 5’’x 7 ½ ‘’ using
the #2804 Deckle cut blade in your combo trimmer.
Ink with colors from the chocolate and blueberries
stacker. Adhere the today’s tasks and shopping tile
to the tops with the glue glider pro and doodle round the rectangles.
9. From the dotty side of Cosmo Cricket Boardwalk paper cut a rectangle 7 ½ ‘’ x 4’’ using the
same blade in your trimmer
10. Make some little collages of scraps for the bottom of your four main sections, making
them about ½’’ high. Gather your embellishments to decorate, I doodled mine on white
cardstock with a black pen and colored them with pencils, cutting them out with scissors,
however you could use stickers, chipboard embellishments or photos.

11. Now to assemble the pieces within the Purple Cows Hot Pockets. Open up two
#4090 11”x 17’’ pockets, lay the four main calendar sections and name tiles in
place. **TIP to get the pieces level to each other use the grid on your cutting
mat as a guide. Once you are happy with the position put a small amount of
tape from your glue glider pro onto the back of each piece to anchor it in place
on the laminate. Tacking things down with your glue glider pro add the collages
and embellishments as you wish.
12. Once you’re happy with the main sections ink up some swirl stamps with
permanent ink and stamp along the edges to tie all the pieces together. Close
your Hot Pockets and put to one side.
13. Open up another #4090 11’’x 17’’ Hot Pocket. Lay the two pieces of the side
date bar overlapping ½’’ from one side. Place the quote strip for the top ½ ‘’
from the other side with the month tile above. Join these two pieces together
with the cut out life sticker from the Cosmo Cricket crafting kit.
Tack the pieces in place on the laminate, add the
embellishments, close the pocket and set aside.
14. Turn on your Purple Cows #3020 Hot Laminator to heat up.
Open up three # 4021 5’’x7’’ Hot Pockets and center your
“Today’s Tasks” piece in one, shopping list in one and dotty
boardwalk paper in the other. Adhere your embellishments in
place then stamp round your lists with the swirl stamp.
Close the pockets and set aside.
15. The green light will be on the laminator now which means
it’s hot and good to go. Feed your pockets through the
laminator. Switch off when all sheets have been laminated.

16. Using the Purple Cows #1060 Smart Trimmer and
#2806 pinking cut blade in the freestyle mouse trim
the long sides of the two main pieces of the calendar.
Because the laminate is bigger than 12’’x 12’’ use the
removable cutting bar on your smart trimmer on a
diagonal and move the laminate along the diagonal as
you cut the edges.
17. Trim the side bar from the other large laminate
using the same blade in the same way, trimming ½’’
from the paper top and bottom. Trim along the
bottom edge of the quote strip in the same way.
Draw a semi circle on a piece of paper large enough to
encompass your month tile and quote strip, lay the
laminate over this and use the line you have drawn to

cut the semi circle with your freestyle mouse

and the same blade. Follow the line you have
drawn with the little pointer on the front of the
mouse and the blade will follow, it’s that easy!

18. Trim the two long sides and bottom edge of the today’s tasks and
shopping list with the same blade in your mouse on your smart
trimmer.
19. Roll the Dotty boardwalk laminate up so the two long side edges
meet, trim along this with scissors, leaving a semi circle shape at the
midway point. Punch a hole in the semi circle and set an eyelet to
create your pen holder.
20. With all the pieces laminated and trimmed it’s time to assemble your
organizer. Lay the 2 main pieces side by side, using the cutting mat
grid as a guide, mark 5 eyelet positions down the inside edges. Punch
and set the eyelets. Then lay the side bar against the outside edge
and mark 4 eyelet positions, punch and set eyelets. Using a yard of
ribbon for each join lace the sections together.
21. Lay the top section in position, mark and set 4 eyelets along both
edges then loop the pieces together with bits of ribbon.
22. Position your today’s tasks and shopping lists at the bottom left hand
side of the main section and mark a halfway point for each on the
main laminate. Pierce 2 holes and attach a small bull dog clip with a
small brad in each. Do the same with the pen holder on the right
hand side.
23. Now find the perfect place to put your organizer, get your dry erase
markers out and get organized!
