Strictly Ballroom paper doll
Zoe loves to dress up! Here are three new outts for her
wardrobe, inspired by costumes from the Strictly Ballroom
lm which are now part of the Powerhouse Museum
collection. Visit us to see these great costumes until the
9th November 2014.
Time: 1+ hrs
Difculty:
Hint: Print out three dolls to display all
three outts at the same time.
Print out all the template
pages. Cut out your Zoe
doll, round base and
support stand roughly to
remove excess paper.
1.
Glue your Zoe doll, base
and support stand to stiff
cardboard using glue-stick,
allow to dry and then cut
them out.
2.
Adult step: Very lightly
score along the line at
Zoes feet using a ruler and
scissors or craft knife. Also
score along the dotted lines
of the triangular stand.
3.
Adult step: Use a craft knife
to cut through the cut line in
the centre of the base.
4.
Push the tab through the
slit, up to the scored line.
Fold the tab along the score
line and secure to the base
with sticky tape as shown.
5.
Attach the triangular stand
to the back of Zoes leg and
the base with tape.
Now cut out Zoes outts
carefully and dress her up!
