The Colt story is legendary, beginning with Samuel Colts revolutionary designs
manufactured out of his factory in Paterson, New Jersey in 1836. But the most
important stories belong to the men and women who have owned and relied on
Colt firearms ever since. Were highlighting a few of these owners throughout this
catalog. While these are their stories, we are proud to have been a part of them.
The Colt owners featured here were selected from our 2013 Facebook Contest. Their
stories emulated the heritage that Colt has passed on since 1836. Read more and share

has continued to provide sportsmen and collectors with the handguns and rifles
that made the Colt name synonymous with American quality and reliability. This
year we are excited and proud to announce that these two great arms of the
Colt brand have been combined back into one company. Proving that a sum
is greater than its parts, a single vibrant and dynamic company will now be
designing and producing firearms under the iconic Colt name for all markets.
We are particularly excited that we were able to complete this process in time for
the 2014 commemoration of Samuel Colts 200th birthday. I believe he would be
proud to know his name is once again borne by a single company that represents
the very best in American firearm manufacturing. As our unified company moves
forward, our one true constant will be maintaining Colts historical commitment to
quality across every market we serve.

MY PASSION.
MY COLT.
In honor of Sam Colts 200th birthday, we produced a true masterpiece.
The commemorative pistol features double gold bands on the cylinder
and a single band on the barrel with a gold-plated hammer, trigger and
action screws. The barrel itself features Sam Colts signature inlaid with
gold. The cylinder features the Colt Dome engraved on the right side,
and his likeness on the left side. All parts are finished in the signature
Colt Royal Blue - all crafted by the experienced craftsmen in the Colt
Custom Shop.

HANK KUGACZEWSKI My father introduced me to shooting. My most special memory was the first time
he reached to his side, took his revolver out of his holster, unloaded it and handed it to me. He lectured me about safety
and responsibility as I held that pistol, and I clearly remember the Colt on the diamond wood grips. I recently purchased
a Detective Special just like my fathers. It wasnt an easy find. Ive been able to pass on the traditions and memories I
shared with my father to my son.
The Colt 1991 Series is a direct descendant of the
original Colt model of 1911. A long trigger, flat
mainspring housing and original style recoil spring
system remain from the original M1911 design.
Upgrades from the original include white dot sights
and a lowered ejection port for extra reliability. It
still remains the standard that everyone tries to
imitate, but no one duplicates.

local club matches through the National Matches at Camp Perry.

WHEN I WAS 6 YEARS OLD.
STEPHANIE BERSCHMy Dad taught me how to shoot his
3rd Generation Colt Woodsman Match Target
at a very early age. He always taught me that girls could do anything that boys could do,
and to never set a limit on myself. This gun is special to me because it is something I shared only with my Dad, and knowing that his little
sharpshooter made himproud made me very happy. To this day, this is still my favorite gun. Its such a classic and so well made, and I

Introduced in 1873, no Colt revolver has earned greater fame than the Single Action
Army
, The Peacemaker
. In design and performance, in line and form, no more

sculptural andpractical Colt hasever beencreated. Moviesserveasconstant reminders
of the role this equalizer playedinwinningthe West.
Large numbers of knock-offs and look-alikes have never been able to replace the real
Colt. Records on the SAA Revolver are a Whos Who of action-oriented Americans of the
late 19th and early 20th centuries including Buffalo Bill Cody, Theodore Roosevelt, Judge
RoyBean, PawneeBill Lilly, CaptainJackCrawford, Pat Garrett andGeneral GeorgePatton.
The legend of Colt continues in the New Frontier, Single Action Army
revolver. From 1888 to 1895, Colt

manufactured a variation of the venerable Single Action Army with a uniquely different profile. The Flattop
Target Model was fitted with an adjustable leaf rear sight and a blade front sight. Colt has taken this concept
several steps further to bring shooters a reintroduction of a Colt classic. The New Frontier has that sleek
flattop design with a rear sight that is adjustable for windage and elevation along with a target ready ramp
front sight. The New Frontier is offered in .44 Special and .45 Colt in various barrel lengths. These guns are
meticulously finished in Colt Royal Blue on both the barrel and cylinder, with a color case hardened frame.
Finishing off the classic package are hand fitted walnut stocks with gold Colt medallions.

JUSTIN HJULSTROM When I got to basic training in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, I was issued a Colt M16 A2. I qualified
with it on the first round. When I was deployed to Iraq, I was issued a very old M4 at Ft Dix, NJ. It was the oldest rifle in the armory.
I zeroed it on the first three shots, hitting dead-center. I qualified 40 out of 40 shots on my first try - I didnt have to adjust one
setting on that rifle. That day, I went back to the barracks, called my local gun shop and demanded a Colt. Then I got my wife a
Colt Mustang. I trusted my life with Colt in Iraq, and I trust them with the safe-keeping of those I hold the most dear.

caliber, single serial number modular rifle system, the Colt LE901
.308 Winchester
(7.62 x 51 NATO) has the modularity and versatility you need. Its free-floating barrel and
one-piece monolithic upper receiver provide exceptional accuracy. The revolutionary lower
receiver and bolt carrier design enable the upper receiver group to be easily swapped out
for any Colt MilSpec upper receiver chambered in 5.56 x 45 NATO (.223 Remington), without
tools, in under a minute allowing the rifle to be reconfigured be it for whitetail deer
hunting in Maine, or long distance target practice at the range. All Colt Modular LE901 rifles
are shipped with the necessary conversion accessories; including the adaptor block, 5.56
buffer and spring, as well as a conversion manual. Operating controls are ambidextrous
for the magazine release and bolt catch, while the fire selector is a single side reversible
ambidextrous design, providing you with flexibility and ease of use.

SAFE HANDLING OF YOUR COLT FIREARM

responsibility to themselves and others to use firearms safely. The Basic Firearm Safety Rules set forth below establish a foundation for gun safety. Please
remember, however, that these Rules are ONLY a starting point for the safe handling of firearms within our community.
THOROUGHLY read the safety and instruction manual supplied with your firearm before handling.
ALWAYS treat every firearm as if it were loaded.
IMMEDIATELY check to make sure that the firearm is not loaded before giving it to another person.
ALWAYS check to make sure a firearm is not loaded when picking it up.
NEVER chamber a round until ready to shoot.
NEVER leave a loaded firearm unattended.
ALWAYS store unloaded firearms and ammunition in separately secured locations, so that children and untrained adults cannot gain access to them.
NEVER point a firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot regardless of whether the firearm is unloaded or on safety.
NEVER consume alcoholic beverages or mind altering drugs before or during the handling of firearms.
ALWAYS make sure that the target and the area surrounding the target are safe before shooting.
NEVER rely on the firearms safety mechanism and ALWAYS abide by safety rules regardless of whether the firearm is unloaded or on safety.
ALWAYS make sure the barrel of the firearm is clear of obstructions according to the safety and instruction manual.
ONLY place your finger on the trigger when you are actually aiming at a safe target and have made the decision to fire.
ALWAYS use the proper ammunition for your particular firearm.
ALWAYS refer to the operation manual if your firearm fails to fire.
NEVER alter or modify your firearm.
NEVER shoot a firearm at hard surfaces or water.
NEVER transport a loaded firearm and ONLY load a firearm at the destination where you intend to shoot.
ALWAYS properly maintain your firearm.
ONLY clean your firearm when you are absolutely sure the firearm is unloaded.
NEVER climb a tree, fence or obstacle with a loaded firearm.
ALWAYS wear appropriate ear and eye protection when shooting or observing.
