HOW DO I BECOME AN ILLEGAL HACKER?


















In todays modern society we have become so dependent on technology. Almost anywhere and everywhere we
go, we will have access to electrical devices; if its an Ipad, phone, laptop or tablet. Viruses and malware have a huge
impact on technology, it changes the way we use and view it, but have you ever asked yourself who is behind this
mischief? Illegal hackers are a huge part of it, they are a big problem. Around the globe, there are thousands of hackers
that perform illegal actions and break into computer systems. Every minute of every day, they are thinking of how they
could create new viruses to trick the public, over 200 new viruses are being discovered each month. This research paper is
going to be about the mind of illegal hackers, just how many skills you would need to have and just how you COULD
become an illegal hacker.

What are viruses and malware one might ask? Well, they are a type of software that performs unwanted tasks.
This can be as simple as pop-ups advertising to do/cause serious damage to your computer. Malware is short for
malicious software ( Swain 2) . However, there are many other harms to your computer program such as spyware and
worms, these are both types of malicious software and they both have different functions. These worms are constantly
duplicating themselves in many places such as network shares and local drives. The purpose of the worm is to reproduce
itself again and again. (Swain 5) We are constantly browsing the web and exploring various websites, there is a big
chance that we will catch theses nasty viruses. However, the effect that a virus has on your computer can range, sometimes
you only experience pop-up ads, your computer is slower than usual and you can be redirected from one website to
another. These types of effects are often caused from a download or clever tricks such as a pop-up that says you need
certain software to view that site or you need to upgrade the current software so when you do click the button the button it.
So don't click or download everything you see you can also I have seen advertisements as well as emails that where they
say You just won an ipad click here to redeem. This most likely lead to an unwanted downloads or survey that will lead
to virus. In most cases, viruses and malware can be very dangerous it can lead to identity fraud and there is a chance of
bank information leaked out from one simple download. So when you are online be careful where you click that mouse
because some viruses are extremely hard to delete due to the fact that they were designed to be unnoticeable so when you
do figure out you have a virus its often too late. Some are also are created so there is no possible way to uninstall. So in the
end you have to complete wipe your computer. So you must be aware of what you're doing and online because theses
malware are designed to trick you, dont fall for everything that you see online.

This is on everyone's mind; how do we protect our computers from these unwanted pests. Well, there are
multiple ways to protect your computer. The most import is to have a hard copy of your data all the most important
information should be in multiple places anyways. One way to protect your computer is by installing a quality antivirus
program, also anti spyware, make sure theses installations are up to date. (How Can I protect my computer from viruses?-
Microsoft) I know some people like to use multiple but its not necessary to have several antivirus programs. Also, always
download anything from a reliable source, avoid downloading free movies and music, this really isnt safe and most of
those websites have potential illegal software. . One of the simplest is to not download anything from an unreliable source
don't go around downloading random stuff. When in you don't download anything at all you still might get a virus. How,
you might ask. Well, guess what virus don't have to be downloaded you can click an ads or on your email you can click on
suspicious e-mail pictures or attachments. When or if you get a virus you should be able to fix it with the action Heal when
or if available. This action will remove the file that infected and restore the file, if for some reason this action is not

available then depending if you the files in your computer you should take it to a specialist. The simplest way to delete the
virus is to completely wipe you save. This is where your backup comes to play, now when you don't have a backup to rely
on that you just have to start from scratch.

Who are the hackers and what do they do? Everyone always thinks that hackers are bad and there a nemesis to
society. But from our research we have concluded that they are two types of hackers. The first one is called hacker
which means a very skilled programmer who decodes the bugs in a system computer hope says who has an advanced
understanding of computers and programming(computer hope 1). This was the original definition of the hacker was a
someone who fixed bugs in systems. This is actual good for our community because there helping others out with their
system bugs. Now this second term: An illegal hacker this is the one we commonly refer as this is the one will hack into
your information and steal your documents and files. An illegal hacker is also the ones that are behind the programming of
the viruses. It is very hard to become an illegal hacker, you need to have a extremely advanced knowledge and
understanding of computers and computer programs; such as Java, C, C++, HTML, etc. Many Hackers both illegal and
legal will know multiple programs.

There are many skills you need to become a hacker, you must have an extremely advanced knowledge about
computer science and you should be computer talented. I like use a quote from jonahellison which is A hacker who can't
program is like a skater who can't skate.(jonahellison 1). First off, it is mandatory to know all the components of a
computer, where they are located and their exact function. In computer programming, not Basic English is used, but rather
a programming language. For example, the language used is Python; this language is clear to all hackers. Python uses
various different symbols that we dont know. This internet communication engine is integrated with many software such
as; JAVA. (Glutten, 2013) Also, if you know how to create a virus protection program, then you will be a more
successful hacker, because you know the ways of these programs. It is mandatory to know how to program and create an
HTML. Now an example from java could be for

This is a type of coding that software developers use its called a loop. A loop is a very basic function where it will plug in
numbers. In this case i would be a be a changing number, at the very first step would be setting it as 0. Than it will
check if it is a lower value than cars length because of the fact that it said i<cars.length. If for some reason it does not work
then it will exit the program. The next step is to do what is in the brackets in this case it would be to write cars(the number
that was the value for i). Then the final step is to repeat the program until it cannot go any further, it repeats by using the
last part of the first line i++ which means if it does work than increase i by one. The only way to stop the program
automatically is for there to be a number that is greater than the cars.length. Now many things can go wrong when coding.
For example if you say i-- which means if it does work out then subtract one from zero. If it does work for the first case
where i=0 then it would work for all case. So you can really see now it affects you, if you do become hacker you should
choose to try to learn an computer language it help youre understanding in other languages. Most hackers have a degree
in computer science and took classes, you need to have a huge interest in computers if you want to be a hacker.

A computer is an extremely powerful tool that can accomplish thousands of tasks in a matter
of seconds if used correctly. It does have a huge impact on society, and sadly viruses and malware have a great impact on
computer software, hardware and programs. It can decrease the efficiency of your computer and change it completely in a
negative way. Due to these malicious programs that are mostly created by illegal hackers, the internet is now a less safe
environment for computer users everywhere. There are over 10 000 viruses that we know of, those viruses are all over the
internet. Now that we have explained what hackers do and how they think and the harm that a virus could do to your
computer, you should always be aware when you are using the Internet, better be safe than sorry.
